Response to Mitt Romney's 59 Points

What I might do here, if I have the energy, is to respond to Mitt Romney's 59 points on a point-by-point basis. While Romney is far to the right of me, I find his 59-point approach to be very stimulating.

ALL candidates should be required by law to outline a 59 point contract of what they are going to do. Then we could have some interesting and productive discussions, rather than the endless stupidity of the current campaign.

10/13/11: Well, the clowns in Washington passed the Columbia, Panama, Korea Free Trade bill. Weird. Korea should have been a totally separate issue.

I find it extremely annoying that the Republican LIARS keeping talking about how many jobs this will create. What BS! Obviously, the big corporations will immediately start relocating their plants to those countries and utilize the cheap labor. Don't have to bother with paying stupid Americans a living wage. Let's hear it for slave labor!

They can also avoid taxes by creating dummy corporations that will build stuff and sell it back to their American selves. Such a deal. That's why all the Hispanics in Florida love it so much, like Ross-Lehtinen, and the Cuban mafia.

Should be interesting interfacing with Hugo Chavez, since Venezuela is right next door to Columbia. Plus the Medien (sic) cartel. Look forward to lots of blood and lots of kidnapping. It might not be as easy as the capitalist pigs think it will be.

I suppose Americans may be able to export more. The Columbians can pay in Cocaine.

Korea is a whole different animal, which should not have been part of the bill. This is obviously going to be a loop-hole for getting more crap into the USA from China. And why would they import from us? They are doing an increasing amount themselves.

The Republicans are such incredible LIARS! It boggles the mind. They think that the American people are all morons. Maybe they are. Who on earth would be DUMB ENOUOGH to believe all these lies about how this Free Trade abortion is going to create jobs?

In the long run, the Columbia/Panama thing may be beneficial. But there will be a lot of pain before it is. This whole Free Trade abortion will be a GIANT JOB-KILLER in the short run. Just as bad as NAFTA.

I don't think that I'll vote for anyone who supported it. Screw them! I'm sick of these rats in Washington who don't care about Americans anymore.

An Immodest Proposal

I had an interestingly crazy idea for Anthony Weiner's defense. I think that he should call a news conference at a nudist camp and appear buck naked. Also, all reporters, photographers, and guests wanting to attend the Press Conference would be required to attend buck naked.

I know that seems crazy at first, but when you think about it, it could be a good idea. Right now, Weiner is a dead man walking. His career is shot. So why not try something crazy? He has nothing to lose. Here's how he should set it up:

First, he would need to locate a nudist camp somewhere in the USA, or even outside it, where it would not be a crime to hold a nude news press conference and to broadcast it. This is important, since we wouldn't want anyone to get arrested.

Second, he should require that ALL reporters, journalists, protographers and guests attending the press conference would have to take off all of their clothes, and attend buck naked. Cell phones and cameras would also be allowed.

When Anthony Weiner appears on stage, buck naked in front of an audience of buck-naked reporters and photographers, he would simply say, "Hello, this is me. This is my body. Any questions?".

Because when you think about, what has Anthony Weiner really done that is so horrible? He has sent people pictures of one of his body parts. Would people get so excited if Weiner had sent out pictures of his toe, or his finger? This buck-naked Press Conference would make that clear.

Why is this a good idea? First, it would really be fun to see everybody in The Media squirm. I'm really sick and tired of all of their self-righteous yakking about how horrible and sick Anthony Weiner is. Now they would have to make a tough decision: Either attend the Press Conference buck naked, or else miss out on what might turn out to be the hottest press conference of the year. Media biggies would be compelled to attend the buck-naked Press Conference, because you can be sure that their younger, and more aggressive competitors would certainly be there.

Seeing that many naked people, and seeing the entirety of Anthony Weiner's body, might make people realize that that is what we are. We were born that way, to borrow a phrase. So what's the big deal?

My Take on Casey Anthony.

I liked the comment by John Kays on the Casey Anthony trial. I have not been following the trial in detail, but I am rather amazed at how overwhelmingly CIRCUMSTANTIAL the evidence is. Consider:

1. They are apparently supposing that there was a decomposing body in the trunk either because it might have smelled bad (that is uncertain), or because they found ONE hair. Imagine that: Someone being sent to the gas chamber on the evidence of one stupid hair!!!

I work with technology and sometimes I am overwhelmed at how childishly trusting people are about forensic technology that is EXTREMELY dubious. Are we to really believe that one single hair is enough of a sample to provide reliable evidence? How do we even know whose hair it is? It could be a hair from the head of the shopping-cart boy at Publix. Maybe when he was helping Casey load up her trunk with dead, decomposing beef and chicken (all of which were brutally and cold-bloodedly murdered), maybe one of his hairs blew off in the wind.

Indeed, a hair could even be blowing in the wind and could enter the trunk when it was opened.

2. As far as a hair indicating "decomposition" goes, is it not the case that Casey was probably buying large quantities of dead, butchered, decomposing meat and chicken in order to feed her family? Is the prosecution team aware that hamburger does not grow on trees? Are they aware that when you buy a raw steak or hamburger meat at Publix, some of the blood often seeps out of the package and out of the flimsy bags and can stain the trunk, leaving a residue?

A steer is an 800 pound mammal that was brutally murdered and then carved into pieces to be fed to carnivorous, flesh-eating monsters, like myself. By the time that this bloody, raw meat reaches the carnivore's trunk, it may have been dead for several days and is beginning to decay.

Are the so-called "experts" in this case (whoever they are) capable of distinguishing between the decomposition of a child's flesh and a lamb's or chicken's or bullock's flesh? How so? I would like to hear some DETAILS about how these great "experts" are determining that there is "decomposition" present.

3. Chloroform could also be used by the ranchers who handle steers. After all, on a ranch, you may have hundreds of 900-pound beasts who could easily kill the farmer if they were intelligent enough to follow their instincts and stampede. One way to subdue them might be the use of chloroform.

I would definitely look at the trunks of the cars of people who live in Casey Anthony's neighborhood and find out whether they ALSO have evidence of "decomposition" and "shockingly high" amounts of chloroform.

4. And another thing, if Casey Anthony murdered her daughter, why on earth would she be driving around with Caley's body decomposing in her trunk? That would be insanely stupid and extremely dangerous in terms of her being caught. It would extremely easy of her to dump Caley's little body almost anywhere. It's not dumping a 200 pound man. Casey would have no need to be driving around with Caley in her trunk.

But if Casey had indeed driven around for days with Calee in her trunk, it probably be indicative of insanity anyway.

5. Why would Casey want to use chloroform? If she wanted to drown Calee, she could easily hold her head under water. There would be no need to drug her or bash her skull.

6. Another massively dubious piece of circumstantial evidence is the evidence that Casey (or somebody) had done a Google search of "Chloroform". So what? Are they going to start arresting people for everything that they looked at on Google? And if Casey was just a brilliantly cold-blooded murderer, she probably would have known how to delete her "cookies". I delete my cookies and my history every day, and I'm not even a duplicitous murderer.

OH MY GOD!!! I MYSELF just did a Google search on "Chloroform" to see how it is spelled! Does this mean that I will be charged with MURDER 3 months from now? OH MY GOD! I better wear a chef's hat so that none of my hairs fall out on the kitchen floor and decompose with all the crumbs on the floor! OH MY GOD!

To conclude, I do not necessarily think that Casey is innocent or guilty. Someone needs to remind the TV JERKS that every American has a right to a fair trial by a jury of their peers, which is not the same as 50 million moronic TV viewers.

Someone should also remind those IDIOT prosecutors that their job is to find out who really murdered Calee, if she was murdered. Their job is not to just scrounge around and invent evidence to crucify Casey.

The Lady Who Fell Into the Fountain

I didn't see the humor in the whole thing. What is so funny about a woman tripping and falling into a fountain? Sure, if it were the 3 Stooges it would funny. But it isn't funny when it's a real person. I found it rather amazing that she didn't sue the mall.

Duh. Did the mall architects ever hear of something called "railings"? Did the idiots who designed the place ever hear of at least painting the boundaries of fountains bright red or yellow? This is a basic safety procedure that you would learn in Interior Design or Architecture 101.

The woman is not an idiot. She probably has deficient peripheral vision. Would the TV-watching morons of America laugh so hard if she were blind or legally blind and fell into the fountain? Ha, ha, ha. How hilarious. What a collection of PIGS.

The people who are truly DUMB are first of all the DESIGNERS of that mall, and secondly, people who found the whole thing to be amusing. What a collection of RETARDS!!!

The lady has every right to be angry! She should SUE the SOBs for negligence in not having that stupid fountain surrounded by any sort of railings or brightly-colored boundary, and then she should REALLY sue the SOBs for broadcasting the stupid surveillance tapes! What right did those BOZOs have to broadcast those videos???

After I got thru sueing THOSE Bozos, they wouldn't be laughing again for a long, long time.

Republican Healthcare Legal Challenge A Result of Democratic Arrogance

This was entirely predictable. Were Obama and the Democrats really DUMB ENOUGH to think that they could implement healthcare reform at the national level without one single, solitary Republican vote?

That was INSANE. IDIOTIC. ARROGANT.

Most of the State judiciaries in the USA are either run by Republicans, or heavily influenced by Republicans.

This is the tip of the iceberg. The Republicans will continue to drag their feet on this FOREVER.

Why would ANY Republican, in ANY state of the USA help to implement a healthcare reform package that was not supported by one single, solitary Republican in Washington?

The ARROGANCE and STUPIDITY of Obama and the Democrats on this matter indicates an almost ASTOUNDING un-awareness of the nature of grass-roots American power.

The ONLY real WINNERS on healthcare reform are going to be LAWYERS!!! Lawyers are going to make BILLIONS of dollars in legal fees in the next 10 or 20 years as this 9 million ton dinosaur confronts an ENDLESS succession of Republican-initiated lawsuits in almost every state of the union.

Well, heck, Obama and wife are both lawyers, so they win either way.

Leave the F-ing N-word in Huck Finn!!!

It is not the n-word that is objectionable. It is the institution of slavery that was objectionable. And Twain painted a portrait clearer than any other American author, of what slavery in the Old South was.

The n-word should most definitely NOT be removed!!! Replacing it with the word “slave” is MORONIC. That is not the same.

Removing the n-word would be as ANNOYING and DESTRUCTIVE as putting a BLEEP in a movie where the use of some so-called “objectionable” word is CRITICAL to the meaning of the movie.

I can not believe how much I HATE censorship! It is so ANNOYING, stupid and destructive!

So what if people find Huck Finn upsetting? It is SUPPOSED to be F-word-ING upsetting! Otherwise, Mark Twain would have called it “Fishing on the Mississippi with Uncle Jim”.

Furthermore, the use of the n-word is CRITICAL to understanding Huck’s psyche. Even tho Huck loved Jim, Huck was still so much a part of the Old South that he was compelled to express contempt for the n-word Jim. Even tho Jim was his protector and more of a father than Huck's real father.

And most importantly, Huck comes to realize the unfairness of this. That is central to the novel.

Tax the Rich, A Little

I would favor the approach of ending the Bush tax-cuts for people making over $1 million a year. Most wealthy small-business owners make between 250K and 1M. People making over 1M a year can afford to pay a little more tax. That is also not going to seriously de-stimulate the economy.

And here's a good clause: Allow a person making over 1M a year to STILL get a tax cut, but ONLY on the money that they re-invest in an AMERICAN business that is demonstrably creating new AMERICAN jobs.

The fact is, the Bush tax cuts for billionaires have really been JOB KILLERS. Because where do BILLIONAIRES invest their money? Surely NOT in America. The returns are too low. People like Bill Gates and other big-money people do most of their investing in cheap labor land.

Kendrick Meek and Florida Problems

Obama is as phony as a $3 bill. In the Democratic primary, political newcomer Jeff Greene had an excellent chance to get the nomination away from super-loser Kendrick Meek.

But Obama came down here to Florida and twisted arms, and dragged along a bunch of Democrat Bigwigs to push Kendrick Meek over the top into the nomination.

Why? Obama isn't a moron. He knew Meek never stood a chance. But Obama cares about one thing: Obama.

So Obama came down to Florida to pander to his rabid black supporters to solidify his position in 2012. He didn't care about who would win the Florida Senate seat.

Jeff Greene was impressively smart. If he had been nominated, Charlie Crist might have been squeezed out and the Democrats would have had a chance. Right now Marco Rubio is winning with under 50% of the vote and regular-Democrat Meek is polling an ASTOUNDINGLY low 15%!

As if all of that were not bad enough, Obama has been down here AGAIN recently to campaign for super-loser Meek (and hand more votes to Rubio).

Plus, former Pervert-in-chief Clinton came down here recently to campaign for Meek. Why? Hill-uh-ree! Hill-uh-ree! Gotta suck up to those black votes. Pander to their delusions that Meek has some prayer of winning, which he doesn't.

The question is: How long can a party SURVIVE after they lose all contact with reality? Because that appears to be the case with the Democratic party in Florida.

If the regular Democratic candidate for the Senate comes in with 15% of the vote, in a swing state like Florida, then something is SERIOUSLY wrong. And if it is not corrected, the Democratic Party may have a limited future in Florida.

Of course, this has to be added-on to the fact that Floridians voted for HILLARY over Obama by a margin of 50% to 37% in the 2008 Democrat Primary. But DNC honchos and black racists decided to ignore that. I found that OUTRAGEOUS.

If the Democrats want to survive in Florida, they better get off their delusional liberal cloud and start paying some attention to what the people of the 4th most populous state want. And it is decidedly NOT Kendrick Meek!!!

The only way that Kendrick Meek could salvage his political future would be to now throw his support to Charlie Crist. Then he would be a hero, and would have a chance to save face.

Kendrick Meek Should Drop Out of FL Senatorial Race

Meek would have lost to Jeff Greene if Obama had not come down to Florida to boost him, not to mention Obama arm-twisting other bigwig Democrats to come down here to back Meek.

Now, unbelievably, CLINTON is down here supposedly backing Meek. But what both Obama and Clinton are REALLY doing is simply sucking-up to the black vote in Florida, in preparation for 2012.

Both Obama and Clinton are WAY too smart to actually believe that Meek has the tiniest chance of winning. They are both following THEIR OWN agendas. How do you say HILL-UH_REE, HILL-UH-REE. As if a political genius like Clinton actually believes that Meek has a chance! HA! Meek is a fool.

This election is also a continuation and a manifestation of the fact that the Democratic Florida primaries are a JOKE.

I am still FURIOUS that my vote for Hillary in the 2008 Democratic primary was IGNORED, so that those FASCISTS could ram Obama down our throats, even tho Florida voted for Hillary 50-37%.

And now the same DNC FASCISTS have attempted to ram Meek down Florida Democrats’ throats. But guess what? They puked him out!

Meek is going to LOSE by the most embarrassing margin in recent history. It is almost UNTHINKABLE that a Florida Democratic senatorial candidate can garner no more that 20%!!!

But rather than save themselves that extreme humiliation, and also possibly save themselves from wingnut Rubio, “the big fool says to push on”.

Alice in Wonderland Movie Was HORRIBLE

OK, how do you F-up a rubber duck? Go see Disney's movie rendition of Alice in Wonderland. Horrible. Awful. Terrible. Disappointing.

The actors were very disappointing. I was looking for the passion of Bellatrix Lestrange and what they presented was an actress in a straitjacket. They didn't even let her do anything. They dressed her up in some bizarre make-up and had her yell "off with his head" in an unconvincing way. Pretty dismal.

Johnny Depp just looked weird. I don't even know what role he was playing in Alice in Wonderland. Disappointing, since I usually like him.

Then Professor Snape was the Caterpillar, where he was fairly good, but not bad.

What I found perverted about this movie is that lately film-makers seem to have some compulsion to make EVERYTHING into some idiot action/Harry Potter movie. Alice in Wonderland is NOT Harry Potter! And it is not an adventure with wars and battles, etc.

Why couldn't they just do a remake of Alice in Wonderland? That has been a hit since the 1860's. Why change it now?

They tried to make it some sort of Harry Potter movie, which it isn't.

And another movie they perverted was Sherlock Holmes. I'm a fan of Arthur Conan Doyle, and I am sure he would turn over in his grave from that AWFUL, HORRIBLE, movie!

Holmes was super suave and sophisticated, solving problems through logic, evidence and thought. In the horrible Sherlock Holmes movie, he became some sort of James Bond/Incredible Hulk.

What is with Hollywood people nowadays? Do they think that we are all complete NUMBSKULLS??? Do they think that we are incapable of enjoying a movie unless there is blood and guts and gore and fighting and violence? Do they think that we are all too STUPID to appreciate the subtle humor in Alice or the brilliance in Sherlock Holmes?

Both of these movies totally VIOLATED the names that they borrowed on.

Obama in the Gulf: The wrong focus

Lately, Obama is at least doing a decent job at getting some money for the cleanup. But his behavior from the start of the disaster has been a disaster in itself. The Democrats as well.

The whole strategy from the start has been this blame-game to pin it all on BP. This is not only inaccurate, but it has been extremely counter-productive. It is striking that top executives and experienced real-world problem-solvers are almost 100% in agreement on this.

What Obama should have done immediately was to convene a meeting of the top scientists, engineers and oil executives from all over the world. He should have paid them well to sit in an auditorium in New Orleans 24/7 and bang their heads against this problem.

It is TOTALLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE to me that there is not a way to plug up a damn hole!!! Especially a mile under water. At a mile under water, you have tremendous downward pressures of about 2 tons per square inch. That pressure can not be used to smother the damn hole? I can not accept that!

And Obama should not have accepted that! Anybody who thinks that GETTING MAD is not a part of problem-solving is simply not a problem solver!!! I have found many times that when people get really FURIOUS, problems get solved.

But Obama? He's been sitting there smiling and yakking for 60 days.

I truly believe that Obama simply does not give a damn about the Gulf states, and maybe he even wants to teach them a lesson! Let's face it, none of the Gulf states, other than Florida, voted for Obama. And even Florida had the temerity to vote for Hillary Clinton over him in the primary, by a very substantial majority. Of course, he SNUFFED that one!

So why should Obama care about the Gulf states? Sadly, Obama is a politician, not a President.

And think about this: If 50,000 barrels of oil a day were gushing into Lake Michigan, covering the Chicago Lake Front, do you really think that Obama would be sitting around with his thumb up his yaya?

No way! Obama would be FURIOUS!!! Obama would be SCREAMING!!! Obama would be inciting crowds of 100,000 followers to ACT! To pressure the Government! To pressure BP! Indeed, he would really NOT rest until the damn hole was plugged up.

Contrast that with the Gulf Oil "spill" (gusher). The MSM makes excuses for him that he is just "dispassionate" by nature. Obama? Dispassionate?!?! Is this the meek, "dispassionate" fella who barnstormed from city to city in the 2008 election, firing up crowds of 100,000 people??? Dispassionate??? I don't THINK so!!!

The Democratic Congress has been just as bad. Rather than fixing the problem, they spent the first few weeks having IDIOTIC hearings to crucify BP executives. Guess what? Everybody KNEW from the start that it was BP's fault. Even BP admitted it. What was the sense of this painful elaboration of the obvious, while the Gulf of Mexico was being DESTROYED?

The Gulf is STILL being DESTROYED!!! Talking about money even now is rather irrelevant. It's like a patient who is brought to the Emergency Room bleeding to death, and the doctors all just sit around debating about who is responsible for causing the patient to bleed to death!!! YOU!!! IDIOTS!!!

And why haven't they sent the freeking NAVY there? Send some submarines and freeking aircraft carriers. They could be NAPALMING the slicks. And what about the "bunker blasters" that they developed for Iraq? And is serious consideration being given to a tactical nuke?

It should have been OBVIOUS after the first week that BP didn't have clue. So why did Obama just sit there and do NOTHING? The Coast Guard? They're good people, but we need the Navy. We need the Marines. This is more important then stupid Iraq. Its more important then Afraganistan. And what the F---K are we doing in Afraganistan anyway? Making money off the heroin trade?

Helen Thomas: Calculatingly Biased.

What is shocking about Helen Thomas's remarks are not her anti-semitism or her anti-Israel position, but rather her ASTOUNDING ignorance! She seems to reflect the stupidity of some of the poorly educated anti-semites in America who think that the racial composition of Jews in Israel is the same as it is here. Consequently, they think that all of the Jews in Israel are Americans of German or Polish ancestry.

This is ASTOUNDINGLY IGNORANT! As many as 50% of Israelis are of Arabic extraction. They come from countries like Yemen, and even Iran and Iraq. There are LARGE numbers of Jews, the Sephardic branch, who come from Spanish-speaking countries.

Helen Thomas is incidiously attempting to hide the tremendous DIVERSITY of Jews in Israel. The number of Jews in Israel of Polish or German ancestry is not by any means a majority.

Furthermore, it has been 62 years since the formal creation of the modern state of Israel. In that time, there are at least 3 generations of native-born Jewish Israelis. Additionally, there have been Jews in Israel considerably longer than 62 years. The Zionist movement began over a hundred years ago, and of course, there is abundant archeological evidence of Jews in Israel dating back at least 4,000 years.

The people who put forward an "imperialist" idea about Israel have no understanding of the reality of Israel. Any person putting forward the idea of Israelis as imperialists knows nothing whatsoever about Jewish history.

Why on earth would any "imperialist" want to come to a place like Israel!? There is no oil there. No diamonds. When most of the Jews came there they worked slavishly making the deserts bloom and draining Malaria-infested swamps. Indeed, anyone wanting to live in Israel must serve in the citizen-army for 2 1/2 years, and serve one month a year to age 60.

That's a little different then the fat, lazy life in America, where one can live in the richest country on earth and give absolute ZERO service in return. Indeed, it has long been accepted that if an Israeli wants to live a comfortable life, he should go to America. When Americans go to Israel, they are making a significant economic and comfort sacrifice. Life is far more comfortable in America.

People who emigrate to Israel from America are almost always Jewish idealists who are making significant sacrifices to live in the Holy Land. This is a million miles from "imperialism". They are not going to Israel for economic gain.

I'm sorry, but I view anti-Israel people as being anti-semitic at worst and simply IGNORANT at best. I should also add "reverse RACIST" as well. Many black racists like Lewis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright dislike Israel because in their simple-minded, racist pea-brains they think that Israel is all a bunch of rich, white Polish and German Jews. Well, it ain't.

And this is what I most hated about Helen Thomas biased, anti-Israel opinions. That they DO NOT accurately reflect the racial composition of Israel.

Not to mention the ABSURDITY of Jews going back to German and Poland. Didn't she ever hear of the Holocaust? The Jews are supposed to go back to a country that raped, plundered, and murdered 6 million of them! How DUMB can you get?

Or how about going back to Poland, to lovely Auschwitz? Unreal.

I am also rather annoyed with her "apology". There is an old Hebrew proverb that when you tell an untruth, it is like scattering a handful of seeds into the wind. In order to "take back" your untruth, you would have to find every single seed that you scattered into the wind. Not possible.

I would just as soon that she didn't apologize, since it is highly unlikely that she is at all sorry.

And another thing: This business about her "freedom of speech". Sure, she has freedom of speech. But when you insult millions of people, you can expect that those millions of people ALSO have a right to THEIR free speech to say what they think of Helen Thomas.

Additionally, no one took away Helen Thomas's rights. She was not arrested, incarcerated or sued. There is Nothing Racist about the Arizona Law

It was truly shocking that Obama should make this into a RACIST issue. There is nothing whatsoever racist about it. In fact, it is actually just the job that he had sworn to do, but has consistently shirked. His first job is to defend the borders of the United States, but alas, he is more interested in getting the Latino vote.

Another thing that annoys me is this idea that Latinos are "brown people". Since when? Turn on Latin TV. About 95% of the stars on Latin TV are caucasians. Being slightly swarthy does not make you a non-caucasian race, otherwise, Italians and Greeks would be considered non-caucasians, which isn't the case.

Spain is a Europeon country, and its people are caucasian. They are not members of some mythical "brown people" race.

Latin America is more "brown" simply because the caucasian Spaniards came to Latin America and conquered the Native Americans there, who are essentially injuns, as in North America. So Latin America is really racially much the same as North America: You have caucasians, native Americans and blacks. And many combinations thereof.

But a "brown" race? I don't think so. Obama is trying to pull off this "brown race" crap so that he can tie Latinos in with his Black power base. But that's rather difficult, because Latinos are far more white than black. Furthermore, they don't want to be black. Most want to be plain, white, vanilla Americans, which their children pretty much are.

But Obama, Sharpton, Civil Rights Incorporated, and the ObaMorons ALL are frantically waving the bloody race flag, trying to get Latinos inspired into the great Civil Rights Crybaby routine. "Oh gorsh. It's not our fault that we are underlings. Boo-hoo." What crap.

And another thing, if the AZ Police don't look for "Mexican looking" people, than who the F ARE they supposed to be looking for??? Eskimos? Koreans? Swedes?

OK, Leroy, don't allow any of those illegal Swedish aliens come in over the Mexican border. Gimme a break! I've never heard so much utter stupidity as this "racial profiling" BS. Who else besides "Mexican looking" people are going to be illegally crossing into Arizona?

Taxing Medical Equipment Manufacturers is Foolish

A particularly abhorrent feature of the Healthcare Reform Bill is a new tax on the manufacturers of medical equipment. This tax is foolish and counter-productive at several levels. Consider the following:

1. The taxes on medical equipment manufacturing will ultimately be passed on to the average American, who is making considerably less than the much-touted $250,000 per year. Since medical equipment is ESSENTIAL, the taxes will just be passed on to purchasers in the form of higher prices.

Thus, taxing medical equipment manufacturers DIRECTLY CAUSES additional healthcare inflation, which Obama is supposedly opposed to.

2. Taxing medical equipment will ultimately decrease its' availability. This is because the tax will make equipment more expensive and less affordable, therefore reducing its' supply.

People who have successfully passed Business 101 or Economics 101 know that prices are primarily determined by the Demand Curve, or the Law of Supply and Demand. Unfortunately, by taxing medical equipment manufacturers, you cause the price of medical equipment to INCREASE, which will DECREASE it's general supply. That immediately causes REAL PRICE INCREASES in medical care.

3. The Manufacturing Sector in the USA is STAGGERING. It is trying to stay alive after suffering the consequences of the Democrats passing NAFTA, which virtually destroyed American industry.

Now the Democrats are back, kicking manufacturing in the head once again. Medical equipment manufacturing is one of the few areas where America still has some prominence, but rather than HELPING this industry, by passing economic stimuluses, the Democrats are shaking it down for more money!

Why does Obama give BILLIONS of dollars to worthless incompetents at AIG and Wall Street, but then STOMPS on one of the precious few industries that Americans still do well?

4. The medical manufacturing sector is one of the few areas where America could EXPORT products, doing something to repair our insane imbalance of trade. But rather than providing economic stimuluses to medical technology manufacturers, the Democrats CLOBBER them with more obnoxious taxes!

5. Ultimately, a good way to reduce medical costs is to INCREASE the supply side of the Demand Curve. This should be done by applying economic stimulus money to the building of new free clinics and new free hospitals. One of the more expensive parts of that is to provide them with equipment.

The LAST thing that you want to do is tax medical equipment manufacturers. This is totally counter-productive for all of the reasons cited above.

I should also add that I am a lifelong Democrat, but I will probably vote Republican in 2010. The behavior of the Congressional Democrats in the past few weeks is beyond reprehensible. I do not consider them completent to be running the Congress.

Incompetent Handling of Healthcare Reform

Although I am a Democrat (more or less), watching the Democrats ramming thru so-called "Healthcare Reform" last night was really sickening. Truly, they have become Liberal Fascists. They have no interest in even hearing what the Republicans (about half of America) have to say. They are not interested in Republicans' thoughts or amendments, just their own poorly thought-out abortion of a bill.

I thought it was highly amusing that the Obama-loving media should tout this "victory" as a great Obama accomplishment. HA! This? Passing a bill with ZERO Republican votes is an "accomplishment"??? That's cute.

In fact, Obama could not even drum up 100% support from his own insipid, goose-steping Democrats. He had to furiously bribe and arm-twist just to get the necessary 216 victims to vote for this pile of stale pork.

It was also nauseating to listen to the endless LIES and half-truths of Obama and the Democrats. It was just endless populist pap, which was totally transparent to anyone with more than a 6th grade education.

We heard endlessly about how this would fix the "pre-existing conditions" problem with health insurance. A few thoughts:

1. If Obama and the Democrats had any brains, they would have limited the entire bill to the "pre-existing conditions" problem. It is, indeed, an enormously complex problem, and the Democrats' simple-minded solutions are almost certainly destined for years in the courts, probably reaching the Supreme Court, where the conservative majority will strike it down.

2. Having absolute ZERO Republican votes destins this bill to FUTILITY. Most of the local and state governments in this country, outside of the big cities, are run by Republicans and center-right Democrats. How do all of these exultant Liberal Fascist Democrats expect to implement and enforce this bill in those states?

Mainstream America is filled with Republican governors, Republican state legislatures and Republican State Supreme Courts. They'll do everything in their power to stonewall most of the bill. It's doomed to failure, at least for many years.

3. The bill is filled with pork and bribes. Louisiana Purchase, etc. If the bribes are taken away, the Democratic supporters of the bill will also drop their support.

4. The bill is extraordinarily POORLY thought-out. The IDIOTIC notion that you can force insurance companies to accept all people with pre-existing conditions shows that Obama knows NOTHING about business. This can only be done if insurance companies are allowed to MASSIVELY increase premiums. Otherwise they go out of business.

And if the GOVERNMENT wants to take over insurance, that makes it even MORE expensive than it is already. America is on the verge of bankruptcy. The dollar is coming to be worth little more than paper, but yet the ObaMORON spends and spends and spends and spends. He apparently thinks that "white pee-poe" have an infinite amount of money to give away to poor, oppresed black people. Like him and Oprah.

Poor oppressed Oprah! How does she manage to LIVE on a measely 2.5 billion dollars!!! Black people are all SO oppressed. And poor Michelle Obama! All of those years she had to scrape by on a mere 6 figure salary! All because she was forced to live in a country that she has never been proud of! How tragic!!!

I could go on for a few more thousand words, but I gotta get going. I shall return soon, to regurgitate more unpleasant observations.

I thought that Bayh's resignation speech was DISGUSTING. Birch Bayh talks about public service. He should talk to some of the marines who gave up their arms and legs and souls at Iwo Jima and Normandy Beach so that America could even HAVE a congress!

And all we get is this whiny, crybaby drivel about how His Sweetness just can't stand all those nasty-nasties in Congress. All those nasty-nasty partisan roughnecks.

Well, if Bayh hates partisanship so much, why doesn't he grow a penis, stay in Congress, and VOTE in a non-partisan way? He is somehow trying to glorify being a GUTLESS QUITTER.

What is Bayh's message? He is now going to leave congress because it is too partisan. And who is he leaving it to? Obviously some jerk who doesn't care about it being too partisan. A totally ILLOGICAL action on Bayh's part. I do not understand his logic, except that he is perhaps saying that he can make more money on the outside.

Democracy isn't a tea party. Freedom isn't free. Sometimes you have to fight for what you believe in. But apparently Bayh wants to glorify being a chickenshirt little crybaby who goes running home to his mommy because not everybody in Congress wears white gloves.

Why Bullet Trains Suck

As a South Floridian, I was at first impressed with the idea of a bullet train network. But when you analyze the idea further, it is really totally IDIOTIC. I say that particularly because there is a desperate need for commuter rail (or monorail) transportation in Florida cities. Most Florida cities have virtually no commuter rail transportation whatsoever, and very few buses to boot.

Which is the wiser expenditure of train-building money? To build commuter-rail transport in cities that desperately need it and are currently traffic-clogged? Or to spend billions of dollars on some goofy, warp-speed Amtrak that is going to go from nowhere to nowhere?

It is also indicative of Obama's MASSIVE ARROGANCE that he should just plop down in Florida and, in his infiinite wisdom, decide that we should spend billions of dollars on this idiotic, make-work project, which primarily involves spending 10 JILLION dollars on real estate. Do you have any IDEA how much money must be spent simply to purchase all of that LAND? Not to mention billions in legal fees as people contest having to sell their land. DUH.

Here are a few of my objections to the bullet train project:

1. Before a single track can be laid, before any technology is implemented, the state must spend 5 jillion dollars buying real estate. To travel from Tampa to Orlando, you must buy a huge parcel of real estate. Then back down thru the Gold Coast, including astronomically expensive Palm Beach, to get down to Miami. And the ObaMorons think that can do that for a measly 8 BILLION??? They're out of their minds! The real estate costs alone will probably be well over 8 billion dollars. Not to mention the cost of tracks, trains, power grids, labor, designers, etc.

It'll probably be cheaper to get to Mars!!!

While much of this land is relatively cheap agricultural land, much of it would be astronomically expensive urban land, especially in downtown business sectors. Does buying land have any real economic stimulus value? I don't think so.

It is legendary that politicians and their cronies are ALWAYS the ones who wind up making a fortune when land is purchased for a new road or railroad. Politicians will buy up the cheap land near the train stops because that land will skyrocket in value.

It happens every time. Politicians are crooks.

2. Cost estimates for the bullet train seem to be massively understated. A mere billion for a bullet train from Orlando to Tampa? Laughable. The land and the legal fees will probably run 10 times that. What does that stimulate? Lawyers?

3. There is no guarantee that anybody will even USE the bullet trains. They hardly use Amtrak. Why will everybody suddenly use bullet trains?

Will we be spending billions of dollars for some warp-speed Amtrak that nobody is going to use?

Who needs it? For short trips between Tampa and Orlando and Miami, it's just as easy to drive or to take a puddle-jumper flight. The "green" savings of bullet trains will probably take 50 years to materialize. The amount of energy-waste to BUILD the bullet train will take 50 years to compensate for.

It might make more sense to pump those billions of dollars into research on electric cars: Developing new battery technology, implementing solar powered cars, implementing systems for marketing electric power for cars, pumping more money into research on hybrid engines, etc.

Idiotically, we spend almost zilch on automotive research. We need the equivalent of a space program to develop alternate-energy vehicles. America loves CARS, not TRAINS. Spend the money on improving automotive technology, not some pie-in-the-sky bullet trains that nobody except do-gooder liberals want.

Also, as mentioned, there is a DESPERATE NEED for commuter rail (or monorail) in Florida's cities. Most Florida cities have little or no mass transportation, and little or no rail transport. This is an area where trains WOULD actually be used!!! Not some stupid, totally unnecessary gamble, like bullet trains.

And how about spending money simply improving America's freight line track? Freight trains are EXTREMELY GREEN. They save an enormous amount of energy, and they are cost-effective. Having the government help-out by doing track-improvements for freight lines would be quite intelligent and would stimulate business and economic growth.

4. Trains are EXTREMELY VULNERABLE to terrorism. Just think back to the French Resistance. The favorite target was always the railways, because they are so difficult to defend.

You will now have a train zipping along at 250 MPH thru deserted countryside. What more could any terrorist ask for? All they need to is put a teeny little hand-grenade on one of the tracks, and BOOM. Devastating train wreck. Everybody on board the train would be killed. Going 250 MPH? Guaranteed no survivors.

Hey. Who came up with the idea for bullet trains? Osama Bin Laden?

To summarize, these are a few little problems of bullet trains. And that's just the start. And how is it that Obama, Oh Wonderous One, can simply plop down and give away a billion of our taxpayer dollars on something totally dubious and stupid?

My question: How is it that someone as intelligent as Obama can come forward with so many TOTALLY STUPID ideas? Amazing.

Obama Needs to DEFINE Healthcare Reform

The biggest reason that "Healthcare Reform" will probably fail is simply because the Obama people have not adequately defined and marketed the idea. They sit around blaming everybody and their mother-in-law, but it's their damn fault, and their own damn intellectual laziness.

I STILL do not know WTF so-called "Healthcare Reform" is. It's as bad as Obama's endless stupid chant of "Change" during the election. Change WHAT? Diaper change? Regime change? Spare change? Change for the better? Change for the worse? Change for the sake of change?

Obama and his people have WAFFLED so much on healthcare reform that they actually make John Kerry look a model of consistency.

First it was healthcare, now it's health insurance. DUH. The Insurance companies are the ones who are PAYING for all this crap! Why are the ObaMorons so busy bashing insurance companies? The high prices are not THEIR fault. They aren't the ones who are charging outrageous prices for drugs, medical facilities and medical services.

Apparently, Obama does not have the guts to criticize the people who set the prices.

The Democrats need to approach reform on a piece-by-piece basis, and not just with stupid government plans that cost trillions of dollars that the USA does NOT have.

What about supply-side solutions, like stimulating the economy by building more hospitals? Increasing the supply of hospitals is the ONLY way that the REAL price of hospital care will go down. You can't avoid supply and demand no matter how much you attempt to ignore it. Supply and demand is the 900 pound gorilla in the room.

The FIRST step in solving ANY problem is to break it down into manageable pieces. Apparently the various geniuses and czars in the White House never took Systems Analysis 101. I would highly recommend that they do so. Along with Business Administration 101 and Economics 101.

After breaking it down into managable pieces, you develop practical solutions that can be implemented.

If you do not take this approach, then you are pissing in the wind and will be rewarded accorgingly.

The ObaMorons have never taken this first step so they continue to blather on about this great, amorphous, undefined, piece of dog patootie call "Healthcare Reform".

Nobody knows what it is or what it does. Obama comes on TV (all networks) and tells us "the truth" of what it is. But nobody knows WTF he is blathering about, including himself.

Step 1: Develop an OUTLINE, with HYPERLINKS, to DEFINE every aspect of "Healthcare Reform". Put that on the Internet and let THE AMERICAN PEOPLE read it, study it, and debate it for a couple months.

From this can come some sort of plan that will be agreeable to most Americans. You can NOT pass any sort of meaningful reform if half of America (the Republicans) oppose you.

Even if the Dems manage to push a partisan bill thru Congress, I will GUARANTEE that they will be CRUCIFIED in 2010, and they will probably lose the presidency as well.

Obama needs to start acting the way he PROMISED to act during the campaign. Remember? "There are no red states and no blue states"? Remember? We are going to have transparency in Washington?

Isn't Obama going to do ANYTHING that he promised?

A Healthcare Contract With America

Obama needs to make a "Healthcare Contract with America". That is the only way that this idiotic healthcare debate can make any headway.

The current debate is idiotic, because Obama and the Democrats have not clearly defined WTF their healthcare bill IS. They have thrown a 1400-page boogger at the American People.

Here is how it SHOULD be done:

1. Make up a ONE PAGE Healthcare Contract With America. This document should say PRECISELY what the Healthcare bill is going to do. This CAN be done. It should also be ELECTRONIC and contain HYPERLINKS to additional sections that describe the full detail of how and why this should happen, including funding.

2. They can then have 1400 pages of supporting documentation and detail, but ALL of the 1400 pages must be tied into the outline defined on the ONE PAGE Healthcare Contract with America.

For example, the one page document would probably have the following statements with Outline numbers. Statements would be UNAMBIGUOUS:

I. Policy on Prescription drugs
II. Policy on Hospitalization
III. Policy on Public Option insurance (whatever THAT means)
IV. Policy on Choice of doctors
V. Policy on end of life counseling
VI. Policy on testing
VII. Funding requirements and where the money will come from.

If you were to click on any of the above hyperlinks, it would give you either additional information, or a selection of sub-hyperlinks.

When this one page, electronic, Healthcare Contract With America was complete, it would be made accessible to all Americans, along with some blog where comments could be recorded.

Of course, the Healthcare Contract With America would be a FIRST DRAFT. This would NOT by any means be the final version of the bill to be passed.

In truth, this is the approach that Obama SAID that he wanted. Obama repeatedly stated, during the campaign, that it is not what Obama wants that is important, but rather what YOU THE PEOPLE want that is important.

If the above approach is not adopted, then the 1400-page turd that is currently in Congress will almost certainly not pass. And if it does, it will the downfall of the Democrats. Hello 1994. Deja Vu all over again.

Things to do on the Glide Path

Obama now says that we're on the glide path to Universal Healthcare. Well, here's some things to do while were on it.

As I see it, healthcare is a simple supply and demand situation, like any other business. Prices are very high for two reasons: First, there is a scarcity of resources, which means that supply is low. Second, demand for healthcare is extremely high since it is frequently non-deferrable and of life-and-death importance.

Therefore, you have very high, non-deferrable demand, and relative low supply, due to very high educational requirements and very expensive equipment.

How to fix the problem? Giving EVERYBODY insurance is totally INSANE. That is the equivalent of simply printing more money (an Obama favorite solution). It is particularly INSANE because it adds another 48 million people to the demand side and adds nothing to the supply side.

What we must do on the glide path is to add to the supply side. Here's a few ideas:

1. Build more hospitals. Hospitals are ENORMOUSLY expensive and represent a very large percentage of medical care costs. This is also an excellent economic stimulous.

2. Build more free clinics.

3. Bring in the military to assist in training medical workers (other than doctors and highly trained nurses). During World War II, the military trained tens of thousands of medics and hospital orderlies and even nurses to deal with the tens of thousands of casualties of war.

Free clinics would not be as good as private care, but you get what you pay for.

4. Build more medical schools and nursing schools.

5. Re-evaluate the educational requirements of both doctors and nurses. Is it really NECESSARY for doctors to go thru 4 years of college before entering medical school? Could there be new categories of less-qualified semi-doctors to deal with less critical problems in free clinics and free hospitals?

6. The federal government needs to take a more active role in testing pharmaceuticals. Drug companies claim that their high prices are justified because of all the testing that they do.

So get the Federal Government more involved in drug testing so that prices can be reduced.

7. Put more pressure on for the production of generic drugs.

8. Have government subsidize the manufacture of high-tech medical equipment. The more equipment that is available, the lower the cost.

Further, this is an EXCELLENT economic stimulus. Encouraging the manufacture of high-tech medical equipment would help to rebuild the American manufacturing and technology sectors.

Additional, these are EXPORTABLE products, so they help the balance of trade.

To sum up, if enough work was done on the SUPPLY SIDE of healthcare, we would not need ObamaCare, because there would be plenty of healthcare to go around.

Save BIG Money! Exterminate ALL Undesirables!

This was in response to a post in Salon advocating throwing end-of-life people into hospices, rather than wasting money on hospitals.

This was a rather painful elaboration of the obvious. Please, give me some morphine so I don't feel the pain.

This silly article is filled with ridiculous generalizations. Does she not realize that MANY people ALREADY choose, or have chosen hospice over hospital when it is clear that death is a certainty?

But WHEN is it an absolute certainty? I know a lady who got lung cancer and was given 6 months to live. Guess what? She lived 2 1/2 more years.

And where do you draw the line? There are A LOT of younger people whose lives are pretty much worthless: Homeless people, drug addicts, alcholics, crazy people, the chronically unemployed, mental retards, career criminals, why not exterminate THEM?

Heck, you have 2 million people in jail. Most of them are worthless losers, but yet they get free healthcare. But yet hardworking senior citizens, reaching the end of their lives, should be just left to rot slowly and helplessly in hospices.

I just LOVE the way this DIMWIT paints a picture of how wonderful hospice is. You just sit there and watch a loved one die without helping them because it's CHEAPER that way. Well maybe if your parents had been so concerned about how much cheaper it was, they would have thrown you in the river at birth. Look at how much money THEY could have saved on healthcare!

And how about getting rid of prison hospitals and just replacing them with hospices? Or better yet, just replace them with gas chambers. Just THINK of the money that we could save!

Matter of fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea to exterminate bloggers. All they do is sit around and blog all day. What makes them any better than old farts who have worked hard all their lives?

But I think this article gives you a clue about what medical care would be like under ObamaCare, since this lady is obviously an ObaMoron. Under ObamaCare, you would have to make your case for survival to some ObaMoron Burocrat, and if you didn't have black skin, and if you weren't a Liberal, then it would be time for you to die.

Reverse-Racist Obama and Professor Gates

Its interesting that nobody seems to pay attention to the fact that one of the arresting officers was black. And he did not appear to be upset. The fact is, the days of "The Poe-Leece" being all-white, is long gone.

It's also rather unusual for a wealthy homeowner like Gates to have to break into his own home. How often does that happen?

I find it particularly OUTRAGEOUS that the whole Obama suckup media is busy jumping all over this poor police officer who was simply doing his job, and nobody criticizes this oh-so-brilliant Harvard professor who screams insults at the cop and even refused at first to show his ID. What was Gate's problem?

And if Obama admittedly knew NOTHING of the details of the case, why then did he proceed to accuse the police officer of being "stupid"? I'm sick and tired of Obama's REVERSE RACISM.

Guess what? We have a black president. Black Oprah Winfrey has $2.5 billion dollars. MANY other blacks are enormously rich and powerful. The Civil Rights movement is OVER. It has suceeded. Blacks should stop being a bunch of crybabies and stop screaming "racism" every time something happens that is not perfect.

And what if the shoe were on the other foot? What if some white professor had come back from a trip, carrying a backpack and looking scruffy, and broke open his own front door. Then when the police came, he would refuse to show his ID and call the black police office a racist, or an n-word, or a M-F'er? Would the black police officer had been accused of racism for arresting him? Or would the white professor have been called a racist for insulting the black police officer?

Assuredly, the white professor would be condemned for being a madman and a racist. He certainly wouldn't get the sympathy of the HNIC.

Sounds like Gates deserved what he got. The police officer was following procedure and he did not deserve to get screamed-at by Gates.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of hearing about how blacks get unfairly profiled. They get profiled because the number of black criminals is vastly disproportionally HIGH compared to the black population.

That is because blacks simply commit vastly more crimes. Whether or not that is because of racism, or whether it is because of a lawless quality in black culture, is a matter of conjecture.

But personally, I am grateful to the police for stopping crime, no matter who is perpetrating it.

The Chinese Will Probably Dominate Green Technology

Obama seems to have created some nanu-nanu mantra that millions of new "Green Technology" jobs are going to be created in the USA due to stifling regulations. I think that this is unlikely.

In fact, the CHINESE are more likely to dominate the Green Technology field, just as they are coming to dominate almost all technology fields. Why do I say this?

First, the Chinese are going to be FORCED to create green technology. That is because the air in their cities is becoming unbreathable. They will have to either create green technology or die. But this is not the case in the USA, where air quality is quite tolerable.

Since Americans are not suffocating from air pollution, as the Chinese are, there is much less motivation to do anything about it.

The same holds true for water pollution. Chinese water is filthy. As Chinese industry continues to advance, with their famous lack of regulation, the water may become dangerously polluted, causing mass death. This will come to be a strong motivation for green technology in China.

Once again, since water quality regulations keep American water clean, we do not have the same motivation to turn to green technology.

Thirdly, the Chinese have simply become the ruling industrial power. IDIOTICALLY, the USA has given away its' industrial dominance just so that a bunch of MORONIC investors can make a few more dollars by utilizing cheap labor.

So to conclude, I think that the U.S. Government should be focusing on how to keep EXISTING American industry healthy, rather than having wet-dreams about imaginary windmills and other nanu-nanu green technology.

What are some things that America does best? Building space shuttles, airplanes, cars, computers, and high-tech weaponry.

But yet we seem to be giving this away. GM and Chrysler may be dead. Idiot Bush dumped the space shuttle program. Most of IBM was sold to China. Will foreign countries soon be making our smart bombs?

America needs to be furiously defending and supporting our EXISTING industries, not putting our faith in some IDIOTIC, nanu-nanu, green technology which may or may not ever materialize.

Palin's Statement May be Unambiguous

I'm not sure why the MSM is having so much difficulty understanding Sarah Palin's speech. I think that her quitting the Governorship is a very clear statement that she is not planning to run for the Presidency.

First of all, if Palin had any desire for the Presidency, why on earth would she quit the Governorship? She isn't an idiot. I'm sure she realizes that that her quitting seriously undercuts her credentials for the Office of President.

And there is no compelling reason for her to quit (that we know of). She is not facing Impeachment or criminal charges or scandal (that we know of).

Secondly, her basketball analogy reinforces this statement. She does not in any way say that she intends to leave politics. She is merely going underground, like a pretty Joker to Obama's Batman.

Perhaps she has come to a more accurate self-realization. Perhaps (hopefully) she has come to realize that she is woefully unqualified to be President.

However, she is an enormous talented, Obama-class speaker, who is literally the ONLY Republican alive who can draw a crowd of more than 25 people.

This is what she is saying, in her basketball analogy. She will lead the Republican team drive with her energy, charisma, and speaking ability. But she will pass the ball to someone more capable of running for office.

At the same time, she is not saying point-blank that she will not run. But I think that she would only run if she was absolutely drafted.

Once again, I can't really understand the justification for the MSM to be beating her up so badly. I think that it is really the ObaMorons who are behind it because Palin was the only politician with the balls to criticize Obama. And she got in plenty of right hooks.

While it is not a brilliant strategy, it may just be that quitting is something that Palin just had to do for the sake of her own sanity. Like little Lilliputian vampires, her critics are bleeding her dry. They are draining her tremendous energy.

My advice to Palin: 1) Ignore your liberal critics. You have the positive energy to bulldoze them. You are wasting your energy even thinking about answering their questions. 2) Do not, under any circumstances, have interviews with anybody to the left of Sean Hannity. The lefties only want to drain you. 3) Do not, under any circumstances, run for further political office. Like Bill Clinton, you can make millions just speaking at fund raisers, and that is your talent and your power. You are not qualified for the Presidency and never will be.

In conclusion, I think that quitting the Governorship is an ENORMOUSLY unambiguous statement. I don't understand why the MSM is too retarded to understand that.

Obama Healthcare is DOA

Obama's Healthcare Plan appears DOA for several reasons: First, it's ridiculously expensive at a time when the country is near-broke. Second, Obama has done a poor job at even explaining what it is. People don't understand. Third, his cost justifications are absurd. He says that he is going to save hundreds of billions of dollars by eliminating "unnecessary tests". How on earth do government burocrats know what "unnecessary tests" are? If doctors prescribe tests, then it is presumed that they are necessary.

Obama should forget about an "insurance" solution and simply focus on providing low cost services for free to the poor: Build free health clinics and free "charity" hospitals. The poor can be taken care of there, but there should be "means testing".

I think that Obama is full of BS when he says that our healthcare system is "broken". It is one of the best in the world, if not THE best. Even many poor people are taken care of via Medicare and Medicaid.

And what about Obama's seeming assumption that the alleged 48 million uninsured are all tragically too poor to pay for health insurance. Is that really the case? How many of the uninsured simply prefer to spend their money on something else? Insurance is an intangible, and a lot of people simply ignore it, until it's too late. Especially if they aren't very bright.

Also,, large numbers of the uninsured are not American citizens, and are not our responsibility. if they want to live and work here, then they should be paying for insurance.

A good solution might be to simply expand the EXISTING public health service, as well as Veteran's medical services. Perhaps the uninsured could get medical care thru Veterans' or an expanded military medical corp.

The army medical corp is very practical. If you are sick, you do not immediately see a doctor. You first see a medic, who is an enlisted man with a few months of training. If the person is indeed sick, they can progress to a nurse, GP or medical specialist, as needed.

There needs to be a realization that you get what you pay for. The government should not be providing the poor with free Rolls Royces. But mass transportation should be available. Free clinics and hospitals would probably involve fairly long waits and might not have the best doctors. There would be much more use made of medics and physicians assistants.

A Little ObaHypocrisy on Private Jets

Remember when the CEO's of the former Big 3 automakers came to Washington? Obama and the rest of the Democrats made this whole big deal about how these horrible, terrible CEO's were flying on private jets. Apparently they were supposed to come to Washington on Amtrak or something.

But we see Obama's massive hypocrisy when he takes Airforce One, and 5 jillion Secret Service guys with him as he takes Michelle out for a date. Pretty expensive date. But no problem, the taxpayer is paying. Just taxpayers making over $250,000 a year, I'm shore.

Isn't it rather inappropriate for a government that is $3,456,333,555,555,222,666 in debt to be taking spit-shined, corporate jumbo jets out for a date?

But getting back to the CEO's, this IDIOTIC obsession that top corporate executives are supposed to fly economy class reveals the fact that Congress is TOTALLY DEVOID of business knowledge.

Here's a couple things to think about. The hourly wage of the CEO's of any of the Big 3 automakers is probably almost as much as a first class ticket. 1. Does it make economic sense to have the CEO standing in line for 2 hours waiting to get frisked? Does it make sense to have the most important man at GM or Ford sitting on a runway somewhere for an hour or two while the flight is delayed? Does it make sense for him to have to sit at Timbuktoo International Airport because flights were cancelled due to bad weather in New York? Does it make sense to have the most important person at GM or Ford UNABLE to use his cell phone or laptop for a couple hours? Does it make sense for him to have to delay critical meetings because the next flight to the coast doesn't leave for 5 hours?

The fact that the BOZO in Congress was making a big deal about these guys not taking public transportation reveals how totally CLUELESS some of these Congressional AIRHEADS are. They know absolutely NOTHING about the functioning of a huge, critical corporation.

Sure, there are lots of problems with the Big 3. But the solution is NOT to have the CEO waste hours and hours on public transportation! That is just a waste of a valuable resource.

Obama's health care plan is DOA. It is a dim-witted plan that will yield massive corruption and degrade American medical care.

A much better plan is to simply leave the U.S. health care system alone. More free clinics and charity hospitals could be built that would take care of the poor and the uninsured. No, they would not be able to get non-essential services for free. Yes, they might have to wait for a long time. No, they would not be able to select their own doctors. Yes, they might get lousier doctors. Good doctors want to make money (they aren't idiots).

A good approach would be expand the public health system, and possible the Veteran's Administration and even the military medical corps. In the army, when you have a cold, you don't get to see a doctor. You see a medic, who has had a couple months of training.

Obama says that he is going to pay for his plan by saving billions of dollars on un-necessary tests. So are government burocrats now going to tell doctors that the tests that they are prescribing are "unnecessary"? I don't get it. How is Obama going to eliminate billions of dollars in "unnecessary" tests.

And when is a test "unnecessary"? If they gave you a test for cancer, and it turned out negative, was that "unnecessary"? How does a freeking lawyer like Obama know so freeking much about medicine? For that matter, how does he more about the auto industry than all 3 CEO's of the Big 3 combined?

Obama keeps blathering about how the American health care system is "broken". I would say that that is hardly the case. The American system is the best in the world. Top doctors from all over the world would KILL to come to America. The people who go into medicine are the smartest people around. But that will no longer be the case if Obama starts making them work at minimum wage.

Who wants to go thru 30 years of rigorous education, internships and residencies just to make the same salary as a plumber? If doctors don't make big money, then the smartest people will no longer go into medicine. That's the way the world works.

And another thing. Obama talks about the alleged 48 million uninsured as if they are all victims of economic catastrophy. This is not necessarily the case. If you look a little closer, you'll probably that 10 or 20 million of those people COULD afford health insurance, but they would rather spend the money on other things. After all, insurance is an "intangible" that a lot of (dumb) people don't think is really necessary.

Another thing is that HUGE numbers of uninsured are recent or illegal immigrants.

So this idea that all of the alleged 48 million uninsured are tragic victims who could not possible afford health insurance is simply not accurate.

It also should be noted that huge numbers of poor people get free or cheap medical care thru Medicare or Medicaid. So Obama should keep his big yap shut.

During the campaign, Obama kept harping away about how bad the economy was until HE broke it. He broke it by undermining confidence in the American economy. Obama is apparently too inexperienced and too stupid to understand the effect of his words.

Manned Mission to Mars is Idiotic

Bush's idea of a manned mission to Mars is one his most idiotic ideas. It is purposeless and counter-productive.

First, the technological problems are way beyond our current technology, and are basically problems that are a waste of time to bother solving. The biggest problem is simply HUMAN SAFETY.

Traveling to Mars, landing, taking off again and returning is almost breathtakingly dangerous. Furthermore, solving these problems is a stupid waste of time.

Why? Because by the time that these problems are solved, we will have thousands of cheap, expendable ROBOTS who will probably be better astronauts than humans. They will be millions of times more intelligent, have better vision, better hearing, and better brains. So what is the point in sending a human?

Secondly, by sending a robot, they avoid the enormous problem of transporting a hugely heavy and powerful rocket to Mars. Because of Mars HUGE gravitation, they will need almost as large of a rocket to get off of Mars as to get off the earth. That makes it almost impossible.

Thirdly, the whole IDEA of wasting money on a trip to MARS is totally IDIOTIC. America must continue to fight for the "high ground" above the earth. He who dominates space, dominates the earth. All that "love of humanity" stuff is a bunch of crap. See how fast THAT disappears in the next world war.

The idea of getting rid of the Space Shuttle program is ASTOUNDINGLY MORONIC. Only BUSH could be THAT dumb!!!

If anything, we should be working on building a redesigned Space Shuttle that is faster and cheaper than the current ones. They should have done that 15 years ago, when the last one blew up.

Fourth, the ONLY way that we can build monster interplanetary spacecraft in in-orbit factories. We need to develop a better space shuttle in order to build factories in orbit. Once the factories are built, then we can build the huge interplanetary "tankers" that will allow comfortable passage, and mineral tranport around the solar system.

One thing is for certain. Other planets, like Mars or even the Moon are going to contain minerals that are of ASTRONOMICAL value. The only way that we will be able to mine them is if we have orbital factories to build the kind of monster tankers that will be necessary to transport minerals.

Plus, shuttle technology will be key to the operations, since it will be necessary to have shuttles that are very fast and very powerful to transit between the planet's surface and the mining ships.

This is simply due to the fact that if you don't have to deal with getting off and on the planet's surface, it is a very simple thing to build a monster interplanetary spacecraft.

Fifth, what good does a direct Mars trip do? We went to the Moon in 1969. So what? What did it do for us? So we'll spend 78 guhzillion dollars and 30 years to get a man on Mars so that he can say "one small step for mankind", and hear the Martians say "there goes the neighborhood!".

Perhaps the only thing good about the idea is that Mars might be a good dumping ground for hardened criminals. Criminals sentanced to death, or sentanced to life in prison, could be given the option of taking a one-way bus trip to Mars instead.

Why not? I would think that it would be more fun to die on Mars than to die in the electric chair. And besides, much of the early colonization of "The New World" began by establishing prison colonies there.

To summarize, we should postpone the Mars project indefinitely, and focus on building a re-designed space shuttle. The shuttle should focus on providing transportation to and from the in-orbit space station/factory. Ultimately, this is where a Mars vehicle would be built. Probably 30 years from now.

Doing it now is idiotic.

Rush Limbaugh got in a good right hook on Obama yesterday at lunch. Rush played a tape of Obama's speech at Notre Dame where he was really laying on the BS about how he was first converted to Christianity by a cardinal in Chicago. Obama was going on and on about kind and gentle and wonderful the cardinal was.

Then Rush says, in effect, "oh yeah? Well then how come you joined a church for 20 years that was headed up by one of the most hateful people around". Then Rush played some of the various so-called "out of context sound bytes" of Jeremiah Wright, with his "Gawd Dayum America", etc.

While I'm not really a Rush fan, I must say that Rush scored a couple points with that one. Obama really starts getting obnoxiously phony at times when he starts in on his spiel about how we can all be together and happy, etc.

You remember all that happy horseshoot about how these aren't red states and aren't blue states, but they're the United States? And of course, he didn't follow any of that BS while designing his campaign.

Some of the "Free Market" nitwits say that we should just allow them to go bankrupt and then new car companies could arise.

Yeah, right. Do any of these pea-brains have any idea of how many years it takes to build a major auto company? Try DECADES.

And in fact, maybe never. A start-up auto company today might not even have a prayer against the Japanese and Korean companies.

Why should a couple century-old companies be allowed to collapse into rust just because the idiotic stock market is having one of it's periodic spasms?

There is nothing holy about capitalism. If it works, then great. If it doesn't work, then replace it with something else. Screw it.

Capitalism no longer seems to do a particularly good job at doing what an effective economic system is supposed to do. What an effective economic system is supposed to do is to cause the creation and distribution of wealth in some reasonably equitable way across a society.

When you have people with $50 billion dollars at the same time that you have homeless people who want to work, but can't find jobs, then the economic system is seriously defunct. Not to mention that America is now $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars in debt (roughly).

Now he says "On day 3 of the Obama administration, so-and-so got laid off", etc. Putting forward the imbecilic idea that all of the things happening since Obama took office are totally Obama's fault. Totally absurd, and he knows it.

But I guess there are flakes out there who believe him.

On the other hand, the ObaManiacs were all on the Sunday talk shows hyping it up about how wonderful Obama has been on his first 100 days. Oh really? Like what has Obama done, other than nothing, in his glorious first 100 days?

Obama has been totally so-so. He seems to be permanently in campaign mode.

My Market Predictions

Here's my market predictions. We know that the market experts are all a bunch of complete and total idiots. So you're probably just as well off following my advice. Or even the advice of a trained monkey.

My prediction is that the market is going to remain essentially flat for the next 20-30 years. It will fluctuate between a bottom of 6500 and a top of 8000.

Why? That is pretty much what happened after the 1929 market crash. After all those people lost so much money in the market, there was no way that they would again seriously invest in the market. Consequently, the market remained essentially flat all the way until the mid 1980's.

Finally, in the mid 1980's, the Greatest Generation, who had lived thru the Depression, began to die off and fade from power. They were succeeded by the Clueless Generations. The Clueless Generations were those who had never gone thru a Great Depression, and they did not believe that a Great Depression, or a Great market crash, could happen again.

So lacking the wisdom of their fathers, as their fathers died off, the Clueless Generation began putting their money into "safe" 401K's and Mutual Funds. These were "safe" because they were scientifically balanced with stocks that did well in recessions as well as those that did well in booms.

The conventional wisdom in the 90's and the 00's was that all you had to do was leave your money in the market, and in the long run it would pay off. Sorry Charlie, but that's unlikely.

Unfortunately for the Stock Brokers, you now have a new Un-clueless Generation which is not going to be suckered into investing in the market again. At least, not in the huge numbers of the 80's, 90's and 00's.

Consequently, with the number of people investing in the market decimated, the market will not recover to pre-crash levels for perhaps 30 years. The market must wait for a new generation of suckers.

This generation of suckers has been sucked dry.

6/16/09 - Market is up to 8600, but I think that it's going to fall back pretty soon. It should stay cyclical, unless it's all an inflation effect.

Rush and Hannity are Over the Top

I take back the nice things that I said previously about Rush and Hannity. These guys have ditched their temporary sanity and gone back to being total liars and barbarians.

The Republicans are clearly working on establishing "The Big Lie" for 2010. That lie is that Obama is the cause of the recession/depression.

That is why Rush and Hannity, et. al. are so busy blaming Obama for everything now. Of course, at this time, 60 days into his administration, it is absurd to blame Obama for the recession.

However, they will continue to repeat this lie for the next two years, and guess what? In 2010 it will sound perfectly reasonable. Thru endless repetition, by the Vast Rightwing Conspiracy, it will sound perfectly logical when Republican candidates in 2010 blame Obama for Everything.

Of course, Obama is helping out by doing stupid things, like letting GM and Chrysler go under, and coming up with some looney-bin budget.

Obama Ignoring GM "Toxic Debt"

Most of GM's problems are truly "toxic debt", in the same way that you have so-called "toxic debt" caused by greedy bankers and delusional home-buyers.

The fact is, the evil Rick Wagonner actually radically improved the quality of the GM product, and made deep cuts in costs.

Unfortunately, GM is awash in "toxic debt" to pensioners and labor unions. Obama is apparently uninterested in that particular "toxic debt".

But apparently spending 400 billion dollars on bailing out delusional home-buyers, who have bought homes that they can not afford, is more important than keeping a couple of America's biggest and most important industries alive.

Hello third world America!!! What do we need these big, klunky, giant corporations for? The Japanese and Chinese can manufacture everything for us cheaper. No need for people to work at jobs that actually produce real things.

Rush Limbaugh isn't all bad

For lack of anything better to do, I was listening to Rush on the radio today. Even tho I'm a Democrat, I find him rather refreshing.

Rush seems to be the only media person who has the audacity to criticize Obama. It makes me realize what a bunch of mealy-mouthed me-too-er's the Media has been in the past year. Everybody else seems to worship Obama, even tho he is having a rather dismal time.

I was surprised to hear that Obama was going to be on Jay Leno tonite. That seems rather smarmy and below the dignity of the President. What is he? A comedian?

It seems to me that if Obama has anything significant to say, he should call a news conference and say it. It's rather below his dignity to go on Leno's show and be beholden to Leno.

First of all, when he goes Leno's show, Leno is still "the boss". Leno says when Obama can appear and when he can talk and when he has to go. That's a crock. The President should not be playing second fiddle to Jay Leno.

It also seem very inappropriate for Obama to be going on Leno at a non-campaign time. It was somewhat OK for a President or a candidate to go on Letterman or Leno during the campaign. But now? Very inappropriate and below the dignity of the office of the Presidency.

I find, personally, that Obama is a bit too laid-back, relaxed and informal for a President. He's the President of the United States. He's not a freekin community organizer anymore. Nor is he a basketball coach.

I would be more impressed with Obama if he spent more time studying up on America's major corporations, rather than making stupid college basketball picks.

How does the freekin President of the United States have the TIME to spend on picking who is going to win the college basketball championships? He is revealing that he is not spending his time doing his homework. He should NOT be wasting his time evaluating every stupid college basketball team in the USA.

If anything, he should be spending that time evaluating every major corporation in the USA, among other things. OK, maybe Obama has the time to shoot hoops once in a while, for relaxation. But why is he wasting the kind of substantial time that it takes to evaluation every single stupid basketball team in the USA?

It reflects upon what I put forward as Obama's biggest problem. That is INEXPERIENCE. I did not vote for Hillary and against Obama because I'm a racist. I did it because Obama is enormously inexperienced, and that inexperience is sadly showing.

So I actually find it a bit refreshing to listen to a non-fawning news media person. Most of the rest of them make me sick.

I Like BOTH Jon Stewart and Jim Cramer

I don't understand this big war between Jon Stewart and Jim Cramer. I actually like BOTH of these guys. They are BOTH intelligent, thought-provoking people. I tend to think that Stewart, in this instance, is in the wrong.

Jon Stewart is undoubtedly very clever and very funny. However, like most comedians, he simplifies things down to black & white, right & wrong, smart & dumb. That is the nature of comedy. You simplify down to smart & dumb, then you laugh at what appears to be dumb. But when you analyze it further, most issues are not that simple. But we laugh at comedian's jokes, but we don't necessarily agree with the concepts totally.

Two good examples are Chris Rock and Jackie Mason. Chris Rock simplifies black & white stereotypes down to the point that they are funny. But are they really accurate? I doubt it.

Similarly, Jackie Mason simplified Jewish stereotypes down to the point that they appeared funny. But in truth, some would say that Jackie Mason was the flip side of anti-semitism, while Chris Rock is the flip side of racism. And both of these people would make some very, very dubious generalizations, which we think are funny, but if we look more closely, they are not.

Jim Cramer, on the other hand, is a brilliant market analyst. He does, in fact, have an enormously successful track record. He had enormous success managing an investment fund, so he is not just blowing it out his behind. He knows what he is talking about.

And Jim Cramer is, in fact, quite correct to dismiss Jon Stewart as "a comedian" who knows virtually nothing about the market or investing.

While it is true that a person should not just immediately run out and invest all of their money in Jim Cramer's picks, I don't think that Cramer is intending that. If someone is dumb enough to do that, then they deserve to lose their money.

Cramer specifically states that people who really NEED their money, and can't afford to lose it, should NOT be investing in the stock market. I have heard him say that EXPLICITLY.

However, if you are playing around with some "mad money" in the market, it is not a bad idea to listen to Cramer's tips and further investigate them. I see nothing the matter with that.

I also see nothing the matter with Cramer yelling and screaming. I think that he tells it like it is. If a company is full of crap, he says it out loud. If a company is good, he also says it out loud, and he gives the reasons for his opinions, which are well researched. What's the matter with that? And I think that he knows what he's talking about.

Also, Cramer is EXTREMELY funny. With his various sound effects and prompts and gesticulations, he is virtually as funny as Stewart. Maybe Stewart is jealous?

I also don't understand the bad-mouthing of CNBC. CNBC is one of the most RELEVANT stations on TV. MSNBC gives you a bunch of mealy-mouthed liberal propaganda, and Fox News gives you a bunch of mealy-mouthed conservative propaganda, while HLN tells you about the latest child-murdering. C-Span has the potential to be worthwile, but they spend too much time on super-boring Washington junk.

So I watch CNBC A LOT. I see nothing the matter with it.

Oh yeah, Kudlow is a dork. He just spews a bunch of rightwing crap. But CNBC in general is not a rightwing-crap-spewing station.

Business is a serious discipline. It is just as serious as History or Sociology or Anthropology, and it is extremely important to understand. I see nothing wrong with having at least one station devoted to business analysis.

DUPLEX The "Toxic Assets"

What genius came up with the phrase "toxic assets"? It's called "collateral", genius boys, and it's about time to use it for something.

Think about it for a minute. A couple hundred miles from America, in Haiti, you have hundreds of thousands of people living in cardboard boxes. They have no electricity or running water, and a lot of them are starving.

Here in America, we have hundreds of thousands of homes, each of which is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, sitting empty. Meanwhile, large numbers of Americans enter the ranks of the homeless because they can't afford to buy one of the hundreds of thousands of homes that is sitting empty.

Helloooo-oooh. Duh. Does anyone else think that this is pretty dumb? As in D.U.M. dumb?

Washington wants to solve the problem by giving hundreds of billions of dollars to the guys on Wall Street who built all of these dumb houses that no one can afford.

Dumb gets dummer.

Here's a refreshing idea. Rather than spending trillions of the taxpayers money to eliminate "toxic debt" (what the Hell is THAT), why not actually USE these hundreds of billions of dollars worth of housing?

Here's a few things that you could use these hundreds of billions of dollars worth of homes for. 1. Housing. Nobody can afford these single-family behemoths that the banking geniuses have created. Here's a hint: DUPLEX them! One family can't afford the damn thing? Well maybe TWO families can. That's a lot better than the IDIOTIC idea of wasting taxpayer money on weatherproofing them, or greenisizing them.

Yeah, DUPLEX 'EM. Still a wall and door in there and, voila, you got a DUPLEX. If it's still too expensive, duplex the damn thing again! Maybe FOUR families can afford the piece of junk! At least taxpayers won't have to pay for it!!!

Other uses: Re-zone the community and use individual, foreclosed homes for stores, warehouses, classrooms, nursing facilities, health clinics, restaurants, motels, and apartments.

"Toxic waste" indeed! There is hundreds of billions of dollars in good housing just going to waste simply because nobody can afford the ridiculous prices that builders wanted.

Rather than constantly crying in their beer about "toxic assets", it's time for the financial industry along with government to get off their lazy asses and do something with the collateral that they have acquired.

Most Oscar Nominees Aren't Very Good

Recently, the Academy Awards have been pretty accurate. However, this year, they are once again brain-dead. Here are my comments on the nominees:

Benjamin Button: I thought that this movie sucked. It was one of the most BORING movies I have ever seen. It is also probably the worst waste of Brad Pitt's talent that I have ever seen.

The best display of Brad Pitt's talent was in Twelve Monkeys. Benjamin Button is a stupid bore.

Dark Knight: I thought that this movie sucked. As happens so often, it was mostly a display of special effects. The chase scenes were IDIOTIC.

If you want to se a chase scene, see Bullitt. Chase scenes nowadays, as in Terminator III, or Matrix II/III, or Dark Knight, or others, have become totally STUPID. That is because they are not the slightest bit REAL. They are just a pile of bits & bytes collected from a computer. D.U.M.B.

Doubt: Meryl Streep's performance was excellent, as usual. She was immortal in The Devil Wears Prada.

Gran Torino: This was another incredible Clint Eastwood masterpiece. How did this guy go from acting in spaghetti westerns to churning out one masterpiece after another?

Eastwood has balls. His movies deal directly with controversial issues. Million Dollar Baby dealt with female boxing and euthanasia, the Changling dealt with the abuse of the rights of the mentally ill (or those accused of being mentally ill), and Gran Torino deals with the legitimate complaints of red-blooded, hard-working Americans who have been displaced by massive foreign immigration along with lawless gangs.

Nobody else in Hollywood has the balls to touch any of these issues. Most Hollywood movies are brainless crap. "Doubt" was
about the only other movie dealing with any controversy.

Another thing that pisses me off is that Hollywood charges movie theatres too much for movies. In Fort Lauderdale, there are very few theatres that show the best movies. They seen to just about all show the same crap.

There are several important movies on the Oscar Nominee list that have either not viewed in Fort Lauderdale theatres, or else only viewed in one or two out-of-the-way venues. This is because they are too expensive for movie theatres to afford.

A Shockingly UN-GREEN Inauguration

When you think about it, this inauguration is shockingly un-green. Millions of people have transported themselves to D.C., which has required the waste of tens of millions of gallons of gasoline.

What would a GREEN inauguration be? Simple. Obama and the other dignitaries rent a simple auditorium and BROADCAST the whole thing to 3,000,000,000 people. That requires near ZERO gasoline.

How is it worth $150,000,000 and 100,000,000 gallons of gasoline just to get 2,000,000 people to Washington DC, when you can reach 3,000,000,000 people on TV FOR FREE?

Obama can reach 3,000,000,000 people on TV and it costs ZERO gasoline and ZERO taxpayer dollars. That is GREEN.

Additionally, there is a cost savings of perhaps as much as $150,000,000. That is the cost for security, facilities, garbage collection and God knows what else, for this gaudy imitation of Woodstock.

Idiotically, we are supposed to believe that this is a time reflecting that of Abe Lincoln. Gimme a break. This is just an Obama "Illinois" theme. The last time Illinois had a president, and the last time the Cubbies won the World Series, was 1861.

But where is the comparision to Lincoln? An inauguration made sense in the days of Lincoln: There was no TV, no radio, no Internet. Today, with electronic communications, there is no need for some big, stupid, smelly, frost-bitten, collection of losers to be jumping up & down and screaming about how "historic" they are.

What's so historic about Obama? So he's the first half-white, half-black President. Big whoopie. He hasn't done squat yet. It's a bit premature to label Him as the Savior of mankind.

In fact, I am really finding all of this MONSTROUS HYPE to be rather tedious. There are BIG PROBLEMS that Obama should be working on. Instead, precious time is being wasted on this stupid circus of an inauguration.

Like, we get it: Obama is very popular with the great unwashed. Like the Pied Piper, he can command millions of lost souls to come to him at his bidding, even if they have nowhere to stay in freezing D.C., and have to use outdoor port-a-potties.

What idiots. Why not stay home and watch it on TV? I guess I don't understand because I am not an ObaManiac.

But what is the real political significance of all of these crowds of filthy, freezing, ObaManiacs? Will they really have any power? Do we really WANT these sorts of people to have any power?

Personnally, I don't really LIKE people who are willing to stand out in the cold for hours just to be a part of a big CROWD that is cheering for Obama. To me, that is faintly HITLERIAN. Recall the mass rallies of adoring Germans listening to every word of their savior Adolph Hitler.

Hopefully, Obama is not a Hitler, but I personally am leery of crowd-people.

"The Departed" Revisited

I wrote the below review of Martin Scorcese's "The Departed" on 10/31/06. I didn't like it that much at the time that I saw it in the Movie Theatre. But now I've seen it several times on TV, including last night, and really like it a lot more.

I will have to revise my opinion and say that "The Departed" WILL make it to Martin Scorcese "Hall of Fame" Classic status. The ending is one of the greatest in movie history.

Unfortunately, I find it very difficult to sit still for 2 hours in a movie theatre, so I did not see "The Departed" all the way to the end when I viewed it the first time at the movie theatre.

My review written 10/31/06:
Martin Scorcese's "Departed" is a good movie. But it was rather pale comparted to his classic "Goodfellas". Some problems:

The movie had no sense of humor. Goodfellas had a sense of humor. Jack Nicholson had a little sense of humor, but not as much as he usually has. This movie could have been improved by Nicholson giving his famous "Herrrrrrre's Johnny..." line. That would have gone well with the squirting gore. I didn't think he was that believable as a mafia kingpin.

DiCaprio is unconvincing as a tough guy. He tries too hard. Real tough guys don't have to try hard to be tough.

There's too much wanton violence, and it's not very believable. Goodfellas only had a limited amount of violence, but it was very believable. The murderers also had some serious concerns about getting caught. They didn't just walk around and murder everyone in sight without being the slightest bit concerned about getting caught. It's not really THAT easy to murder people and not get caught, even if you're a big mafiosi.

The plot was a bit illogical. For example, Jack Nicholson picked up Matt Damon from his graduation ceremony at the police academy. Duh. And no police officers were supposed to have noticed THAT? Matt Damon gets picked up at graduation by a Mafia kingpin in a stretch limo and none of the guys in the police mafia unit are going to notice THAT? They are still going to consider Matt Damon to be squeeky clean? Highly unlikely. Police officers aren't idiots. They notice things like that.

Another problem was that DiCaprio and Damon look too much alike. There was one chase scene where DiCaprio was following Damon, but they both looked so much alike that I couldn't tell who was who.

But all in all, it was a pretty good movie. It just wasn't a classic.

Cautions With the Auto Industry Bailout

I strongly support an auto industry bailout. The auto industry is crucial to the American economy and to our national security. However, there are a couple choruses coming from the Democrats that are a bit disturbing.

First, some of the Democrats have made a big deal out of stipulating that there should be no bonuses for people making over 250G's. This is part of the usual whining that top executives make huge salaries for doing nothing.

Unfortunately, that is QUITE incorrect. A highly talented top executive might make 10 million dollars a year, but he can be the difference between a company being in the black or needing a 25 billion dollar bailout.

You are not going to solve the problems of the auto industry by filling the top ranks of management with LOSERS who are working for chicken-feed. Top executives frequently make 10 million dollars a year or more, because they're worth it. They BRING IN far more than the 10 million that they are being paid. Otherwise, a corporation is moronic to hire them.

But to make a blanket statement that there will be no bonuses is MORONIC. That is a GUARANTEE that you are not going to have the best people running the auto industry. Those top managers will simply go to other companies, or even other countries.

We aren't going to solve the problems of the auto industry by staffing those companies with burocratic salarymen who are content not to get bonuses.

The best approach is to directly link bonuses with performance.

The anti-bonus statement really shows the business ignorance of many people in government. Indeed, what do most Senators or Congressmen know about running a business? Nothing. They can't even balance the country's checkbook. Fortunately, they own the printing presses, so they can just print more money. Most businesses can't do that. They either make a profit or die, in normal times. Government people don't understand that.

The second problem is that government people are talking about taking this opportunity to make the car companies "green". This is definitely the WRONG time to be starting a project like that!

The car companies are fighting for their life now. This is not the time to tie a green dumb-bell around their necks and expect them to swim with the sharks.

Nobody is addressing big labor. The biggest problem that American automakers have are high union salaries, benefits and pensions. Foreign auto makers use cheap labor.

But this is definitely not the time to be forcing the auto industry to start meeting draconian emission requirements. And besides, isn't that a little hypocritical when Detroit's competition in Asia is belching smoke into the atmosphere like a dragon in heat? What's the sense of America being so careful when you have 1.6 JILLION Chinese farting exhaust fumes into the atmosphere?

Joe Lieberman Is Still the Jewish Obama

Maybe you weren't around in 2000, but when Gore was mis-pronounced the winner, and Joe Lieberman became the first Jewish vice president, there were a LOT of Jews with tears in their eyes. It was exactly the same as Jessie Jackson on Tuesday night. Jews did not think that that could happen in their lifetime. And even with the loss of the electoral college, Gore/Lieberman won the popular vote by 5 million votes. It was an ENORMOUS milestone for American Jews.

Of course, it didn't get the press that Obama has gotten. But fairness has not been the MSM's forte of late.

A few factors to consider: As a resident of South Florida, I can ASSURE you that most Jews have not been in love with Obama. First, he spit in their faces by not counting the primary vote, where their darling Hillary won 50%-37%. Can you IMAGINE what would have happened if OBAMA had won Florida by 50-37 and the DNC IGNORED it? Like RIOTING IN THE STREETS!!! RACIST PIGS IGNORE OBAMA! But since it was just stupid Hillary, who cares.

Second, his father was a Moslem, even if he is not. No Jew would view that without suspicion.

Third, he wants to pull out of Iraq and leave Israel to muddle thru on it's own (altho he doesn't say that).

But I think that Jews still voted for Obama because they tend to be liberal Democrats, especially in Florida. And McCain and the Republicans were attacking the Jewish pocketbook: Taxing health care benefits??? Was he INSANE? No universal health care. And then he had been involved in the attempt to add privatization to Social Security.

So, I do not by any means think that Lieberman is unpopular with Jews, but when a decision had to be made between Israel's security and their own security, it looks like Jews are looking more toward themselves.

Besides, the older WWII Jews, who saw Hitler in action, and who witnessed the birth of Israel, are now either dead or dying. Younger Jews tend to be less obsessed with Israel. Probably because they did not experience Hitler first hand. And also BECAUSE of people like Joe Lieberman, who showed that a Jew could (almost) become VP of the USA. That might even have helped OBAMA (but I am sure his followers would not admit that).

Additionally, Florida going to Obama has less to do with the Jews than with the MASSIVE increase in Haitian BLACKS in South Florida. There have been a HUGE number of Haitians, and other Caribbean blacks who have come to America in the past 20 years. Many are illegal, but their children are not, and they have come of age.

The Haitians have been FANATICAL supporters of Obama. They have always been 100% Democrats, now they are 1000% Democrats. And God only knows how much vote fraud there was down here. I couldn't prove it, but it was probably MASSIVE.

And even tho most Jews in South Florida have been lukewarm, or even hostile, to Obama, the Jewish superhero leaders embraced Obama: Robert Wexler and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. If those two had not been given leadership roles in the Obama campaign in Florida, Obama might very well have tanked amoung Jews.

To end their rambling rant, I would strongly advise against bashing Lieberman too much. It will interpreted by many Jews as anti-semitic, since Lieberman is still a Jewish icon. Like him or not. It would be like trashing Obama when he gets old. Good 'ol Joltin' Joe. God love 'im (as Biden would say).

If SNL Were Fair

Like everyone else, I found the Tiny Fey rendition of Sarah Palin to be hilarious. But it raises a few questions. It's funny, and it ostensibly reflects Palin, but does it REALLY? Does it really reflect a woman who was raised on the prairies of Wyoming and then moved to Wassilla, Alaska as a "civilized" place compared to where she was coming from? Does Tina Fey reflect a woman who runs for Governor while having 4 children and a 5th on the way?

Does her entertaining bit reflect a woman who was so committed to her pro-life principles that she was willing to give birth to a Down's Syndrome baby? A woman who is both a bear-hunter and a beauty contest winner? A woman who was a high school basketball star and a TV announcer?

Palin is not some trivial creature.

But what was most GROSSLY UNFAIR about SNL was the totally TEPID rendition of Obama.

Who SHOULD have played Obama? CHRIS ROCK! Of course, Rock is an Obama supporter, so he wouldn't have. But just imagine if he HAD. Are you going to tell me that there is nothing FUNNY about Obama? With his checkered past??? It could have been at least as uproarious as Palin.

But SNL was under the reigns of political correctness to not mess with Obama. But Palin, being a dumb white broad, could be thoroughly mocked.

Democrats Need to Keep Joltin' Joe Lieberman!!!

I don't see that Joe Lieberman did anything so terrible. He is a devout Jew, and he views our Iraq presence as crucial to Israel's security. The Democratic Party seems to no longer give a hoot. It just wants to cut and run. Lieberman goes along with the Democratic caucus on most everything else. Additionally, his work as chair of Homeland Security must have had some effectiveness, since we haven't had another 9/11.
Other things to think about: He was the crucial figure who gave the Democrats a majority.

Additionally, Lieberman is the Jewish Obama. In 2000, he was the first elected Jewish vice president (in terms of the popular vote, winning by 5 million). Many Jews reacted as Jessie Jackson did on Tuesday night. Most Jews thought that this would not happen in their lifetimes, much like blacks look at Obama. Kicking out Lieberman, will have a very negative effect on Jews, who have been gradually migrating to the Republican Party anyway, and who are influential in government. Having continuing Jewish support will make Obama's job much easier.

Additionally, if the Obama left kicks out Lieberman, the "blue dog" Democrats might feel that they are next to go. And if the "blue dog" Democrats go, guess what? You have a Republican senate. It will be rather difficult to effect change with a Republican senate.

IS OBAMA HALF-WHITE OR HALF-BLACK

Consider the "racial purity laws" of Nazi Germany. You were defined as a Jew if you had a Jewish grandparent, and you could then be stripped of your belongings and sent to Auschwitz.

What I find interesting about Obama is that everyone agrees that he is "black". But in reality, of course, he is half black and half white. So why then do we call him "black"? Couldn't we just as well call him "white"?

This apparently relates to the "racial purity laws" of modern America. Apparently if you have a grandparent who is black, you can then be defined as black.

My personal feeling is that we all need to deal with this. It is time to totally rid America of any sort of "racial purity" definitions. And I think that Obama's election goes a long way toward doing that.

The big question is whether HE HIMSELF will want to, or be able to, eliminate the concept of "racial purity".

Racial purity has become an ugly part of the U.S. Government. Whenever you apply for a job, you must fill out that stupid form asking whether you are black, white, hispanic, Asian or Native American.

Since this is an "official" document, how on earth do you even "define" your race? Is Obama "black" or "white"? He is both.

And how about people of the "hispanic" race? That is PURE IDIOCY. "Hispanic" is a LANGUAGE, not a RACE. There are very large numbers of "caucasians" in South America, so why are they termed "hispanic" when they come here? They are actually "white".

And getting rid of this IDIOCY really IS the responsibility of Barack Obama. Obama is the ONLY PERSON who can rid of this RACIST IDIOCY. Because the reason for this racist idiocy is to help blacks get jobs, or at least to help Civil Rights lawyers make more money.

It's time for blacks to stop selling their souls for a few dollars. Blacks should be ones who are the most appalled at this whole built-in concept of "racial purity" being forced down America's throat by the Federal Government.

And the same thing with preferential admissions to universities.

Obama's election may very have a VERY unintended effect upon the Civil Rights/Affirmative Action Movement. It may virtually DESTROY it.

After all, if a black man can now become president, is there any justification whatsover for all of this "special help" to blacks?

Sorry, but I don't think so. It is time for America to go back to the way it used to be. The Federal and State governments should have no right whatsoever to even recognize or acknowledge a person's so-called "race".

That might cost black people a few bucks in the short run, but it would be well worth their while in the long run.

In response to Obama's infomercial:

I'm sorry. I view infomercials as OBSCENE. They are filled with grade B actors and actresses trying to be enthusiastic about whatever stupid ripoff product they are trying to sell you.

I feel as we have sunk to some new low level of ape-like depravity where at least SOME of the American people sit around and actual WATCH this rubbish. This trash. This OBSCENE infomercial.

Here is my idea of how presidential campaigns should be run, and I think that this should be a LAW. EVERY WEEK, the 2 presidential candidates would be locked into a room with 2 chairs, and they would be required to remain there and discuss whatever they want for 2 hours. EVERY WEEK. Period.

What is nice about this, is that ALL forms of advertising, infomercials and other propaganda would be reduced to no value at all. EVERYTHING would depend upon how they related to each other.

And I am sure, in a short period of time, one of them would be the last man (or woman) standing. And it would be based upon their QUALITIES, not upon how much money they can scrounge up from Oprah and launder. Not upon how many negative commercials per hour they can produce. Not upon IDIOTIC celebrity endorsements (Colin Powell: You are a RACIST PIG. Go breath some serin gas. There's lots of it in Iraq, right?).

I did not watch this great mis-infomercial for ONE SECOND. It would have made me violently ill. I would have been spitting at my TV, as I used to spit at my TV after George Bush was elected. And indeed, Obama is AT LEAST as OBSCENE as Bush.

Also, in honor of the infomercial, I VOTED FOR HILLARY last night! It felt GREAT! I'm a Florida Democrat who voted for Hillary in the Primary, but FASCIST Obama and the simpering SCUM in the DNC refused to count my vote. So I voted for Hillary again. This time, they WILL count my vote.

The DNC FASCISTS, like Dr. Demento Dean tried to force Obama down my throat. But I said "YES WE CAN" vote for Hillary!!! Yes we can.

Tell me, did Obama talk about how he went to Jeremiah Wright's church twice a month for 20 years, but never figured out that Wright was a black militant racist?

And, of course, he had no idea that Bill Ayers was a terrorist bomb-thrower. Even tho he knew all about Chicago politics and EVERYONE is Chicago knew about Ayers and Doran.

And of course, he probably said nothing about dear sweet Farrakhan and other Black Muslims who are so prominent in Chicago.

That is the WONDERFUL thing about infomercials: You can just go on and on about how wonderful you yourself is, without being bothered by troublesome debate opponents, or pesky interviewers.

Obama is not black, he is Obama

I tend to think that the number of people voting anti-black will be less than expected. Quite frankly, all things being equal, I personally would vote for a white instead of black Obama. IF there were a white who was REMOTELY as smart as Obama. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.

And what with the stock market crash, we can't really afford to vote for some white turkey just because he is white. Considering the EXTREME crises that are currently facing America, we MUST vote for the most capable person. And I think that many other white people realize that.

If this were a more "normal" year, like 2004, I would probably vote for McCain. But this is not 2004.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with my PREFERRING to vote for a WHITE. Don't BLACKS prefer to vote for a BLACK? Isn't that why Obama got 90% of the black vote in South Carolina, and other places?

Why is it OK for BLACKS to prefer to vote for a black, and it's not OK for WHITES to prefer to vote for a WHITE?

That said, I'm still probably voting for Obama simply because he is so much more capable than McCain. And I think that the same thing is happening in much of America.

Obama has been very smart in fighting the "racist" problem. He seems to recognize that whites do NOT hate and fear all black people. Whites hate and fear blacks who LOOK hateful and scary. Blacks have a very high crime rate and many are extremely violent and lawless.

But almost all whites have a few black friends who they like and who they trust. These people are not really "blacks". These people are "friends". And I think that Obama, thru his 18-month campaign, and very MUCH with the help of the "Hillary-Obama Show", which America enjoyed for months, has become a "friend" and a household word in America.

That is the reason why the Ayers stuff is not sticking. Also, the Republicans started throwing dirt at Obama too little and too late. They should have been smearing him MONTHS ago. At this point, it's too late. People know their "buddy" Obama, and they know he isn't a terrorist (even if he really WAS).

People now feel that they "know" Obama. Even tho they really don't. But that's tough luck for the dumb Republicans, who were MASSIVELY outclassed by Obama. Just as Hillary was massively outclassed by Obama. That's part of why I like/hate Obama.

But Obama has spent tens of millions of dollars saturating the American public with his smiling face. On every page of the Internet, we see a picture of Obama's smiling face. All of this paid for with the 150 MILLION DOLLARS that he raised this month alone. Who knows where.

Meanwhile, McCain is ironically strangling on one of his greatest legislative accomplishments: McCain/Feingold. He has to sit there twiddling his thumbs while Obama rakes in 150 million a month. Never mind that this is an act of enormous hypocrisy by Obama.

We have become accustomed to Obama's endless hypocrisy. But Obama has legendary teflon.

Unfortunately, McCain is REALLY floundering. Listening to his speech on TV yesterday, he seems to be largely out of it. He's still talking about "Drill, baby, drill", for example. Hasn't he noticed that gas prices have gone down a dollar a gallon? Energy is yesterday's news.

And solving the current economic crisis by cracking down on "corruption" and earmarks, and giving rich people MORE taxcuts? What planet is he living on?

His endless talk about Joe the Plumber only makes sense to The Base. Here is some guy who does not have a plumber's license and he is complaining because, someday, he might make over $250,000 in his own imaginary plumbing business, and might have to pay a slightly higher tax rate. Gad zooks! Talk about obscure logic.

Then McCain does his "fight, fight, fight" thing, which rings rather empty. What McCain SHOULD be doing is trying to be the way he was at the Al Smith dinner. He was actually FUNNIER and more clever than Obama. But yet, McCain seems to come off as some bumbling, doddering, bitter, old man on the campaign trail. And his argumenmts don't seem to be relevant.

It's like McCain is just "saying something" to "say something". He has no coherent message. Perhaps because his whole economic message, Reaganian "trickle down", is lying in ruins on Wall Street.

My own relationship to Obama seems to be "like/hate". I LIKE Obama on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and I HATE Obama on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have no real idea why. On the other days I am simply confused and undecided.

Note that I do not have a "love/hate" relationship with Obama, since that would imply that I am some sort of weirdo, like Chris Matthews, who gets chills up his leg over Obama. That's not the case with me. Altho sometimes the thought of Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, et. al., having "coffees" with Obama in the Oval Office does indeed send a chill up my spine.

HILLARY Should Have Spent 150 Grand on Clothes!!!

The whole so-called "scandal" about Sarah Palin spending $150K on clothes brings something else to mind. HILLARY.

If HILLARY had spent $150K, or more, on clothes, the current ticket would be "Hillary/Obama", not "Obama/Biden". And it would be AHEAD 70-30.

I TOLD Hillary again and again: The American male will not elect a president with a BIG BUTT! I did. Read my older posts! But Hillary wouldn't listen.

Hillary INSISTED on wearing those HIDEOUS pink pant-suits (or whatever the stupid things are called). How GHASTLY! PUKE ME OUT! My advice to Hillary was: Take ALL of your pant-suits, make a big pile of them in your back yard, and then BURN them!!!

Ok. Maybe keep ONE pant-suit, just in case you need to go to a Bull-dyke convention, or a meeting of FemiNazis International. But certainly NEVER be seen in PUBLIC wearing one of those things!

I TOLD her to hire at least one, or maybe TWO, fashion designers. GAD ZOOKS. Bill & Hillary made $109 MILLION in the past 8 years, but she dresses like a starving high-school English teacher who hasn't bought any new clothes in 10 years!

I TOLD her what to wear. And it is much like what PALIN wears: NO SUIT-COATS! They make her look like a pregnant hippo-potamus, who has eaten too many potatoes. Suit coats make her hips and thighs look even bigger than they are. And they're pretty big.

One of the radio talk guys dubbed her "Her Thighness".

My advice to her: Wear shirt-waist jackets, like Palin's. That slims down her hips. Preferably blue, which accentuates her eyes.
She should ALWAYS wear DARK pants or skirts, preferrably BLACK, which makes her hips and butt smaller. She should wear some nuclear-powered butt-shaping girdle.

Then she needed to wear more eyeshadow. Her eyes are the best thing going for her. She should have highlighted them by wearing BLUE. NEVER that HORRIBLE pink that she seems to love so dearly. PUKE ME OUT!

Then what she should have done was set a million dollar max on her credit card and head over to Neiman-Marcus. Maybe she should have called Palin to go shopping with her. To help her out a little.

So anyway, all the dumb liberals can bash Sarah Palin all they want for spending 150 grand on clothes, but the fact is, if HILLARY had spent some REAL money on clothes, she would now be in line to be President-elect Clinton.

Obama Moratorium on Foreclosures a Bad Idea

Obama's plan for a 90-day moratorium on foreclosures seems like a bad idea. It seems to stem from Obama's rap that banks are just out to "rip off" the people.

In case Obama hasn't noticed, MANY big banks have either folded or are near the brink. Telling banks that they can not even access the dismal mortgage assets that they own is not overly bright.

Let's face it. The number one reason for this credit crunch has been this IDIOTIC EMPHASIS on putting poor people into homes that they can't afford.

If banks can't get their payments, then the only thing that they have is the collateral that was put up for the loan. Namely, the house.

Considering the difficult position that banks are currently in, it is hardly intelligent to be beating them up further! The LAST thing that we need in the middle of this "credit crunch" is to have some old-fashioned, business-hating, leftist come along and further punish the "evil" banks who are "ripping off" the pee-poe (as Obama specifically says in one of his many obnoxious ads).

So, I am waiting patiently to see some of the much-vaunted "judgement" of Our Savior, Wonderboy. Savior of America. Harbinger of The Great Change! The Second Coming of Jebamus. Halleluyah! Praise Jeremiah Wright and His Holy Angel, Man of the Year Louie Farrakhan. Halleluyah.

Time for a Fumblerooski to Mitt Romney

I think that it's time for McCain to do a "Fumblerooski". McCain should fake a heart attack, or terminal cancer, or something, and designate Mitt Romney as his replacement quarterback.

Then Romney comes in and runs it 99 yards down field for a winning touchdown. And the Republican crowd cheered, while the Democrats sat in stunned silence.

Why not? McCain doesn't have a prayer. Mitt Romney should have been the candidate anyway. McCain only got nominated because of that bozo Huckabee who split the conservative vote.

The debate last night was a JOKE. Obama's IQ is probably about 50 points higher than McCain. But how could McCain win? Obama graduated at the top of his class from Harvard Law. OF COURSE he is a master debater.

Not only did McCain never go to Law School, or any grad school, he barely managed to graduate from the Naval Academy. Do we REALLY want a person to be president who graduated 5th from the BOTTOM of his class??? This indicates downright STUPIDITY and a downright DISLIKE for abstract thought and ideas. You have to really TRY to do THAT bad in college. Maybe he only got into the Naval Academy and got thru it because of his father's clout.

Mitt Romney, on the other hand, was valedictorian at Brigham Young, and then went on to do a double MBA/Law program Cum Laude at Harvard. So it is safe to assume that Romney's IQ is on a level with Obama's.

Frankly, I think that Mitt Romney would have sliced, diced, chewed-up, and digested Obama. Or at least made him break into a sweat. Romney is a certifiable pit bull, as was evidenced by his debate against McCain.

Consequently, if McCain were to disappear, and Romney were to hit the ground running, there is a definite possibility that he could pick up a lot of the reluctant independent Obama voters that McCain has missed. At least, there is a CHANCE. That's more than McCain has.

And at least independents like myself would have a CHOICE. Right now we have a choice between a bomb-throwing liberal, who is at least INTELLIGENT, and some 900 year old guy who doesn't know a computer chip from a potatoe chip. (Ha ha, potatoe rhymes with toe, I learned that Dan Quayle!).

Romney would fill a major void. He is the ONLY candidate who would have had any BUSINESS or executive experience. The rest of them are a bunch of blowhard Senators who never met a payroll, or had to turn a profit, in their entire lives. That is critical. McCain's expertise is military, and America has almost zero interest in that right now.

Romney's expertise is in business and economics. He was a fantastically successful businessman. He was a governor, rather than a senator, so he had executive experience.

Having been a governor of liberal Massachusetts, he would know how to appeal to independents. Three weeks isn't much time, but why not? If nothing else, it would be fun to see Obama's reaction.

Here's a thought. Just how much are the DEMOCRATS causing the Stock Market crash through all of their negative rhetoric and wishing for a crash to gain votes?

Let's face it. Obama has moved from being behind in the polls to being ahead in the polls purely on the basis of the Stock Market crash. How much of that was precipitated by he and other Democrats?

I believe that this is a LEGITIMATE concern. We know that the market runs on CONFIDENCE. And how has Obama helped confidence? Absolute ZERO!

When McCain came out and RESPONSIBLY said that "the economy is fundamentally strong", which is a statement that ANY grown-up, RESPONSIBLE, American leader would make (even tho it's a white lie); Obama immediately came back and pounded him to death.

Obama: "The American economy is fundamentally sound? HA! The American economy is a piece of dog poop! It is horrible. It is terrible! It has endless problems! Etc, etc., ad nauseum.

What genius Obama doesn't seem to realize, or doesn't seem to CARE about, is that the USA owes TRILLIONS of dollars to people all over the world who only keep their money in the USA they believe that the US economy is "fundamentally sound".

And what does "genius boy" Obama DO? He announces to tens of millions of people, all over the world, that the U.S. economy is a piece of CRAP! That it is UNSOUND. That it is on the verge of collapse.

How much DAMAGE has "genius boy" Obama DONE in this manner, with his big IDIOTIC, IRRESPONSIBLE mouth? Probably ENORMOUS. He is respected around the world. And here he is talking to rich Arabs, through his commercials, telling them that the U.S. economy is UNSOUND!!! What an IMBECILE!!! And the REST of the Democratic Party are equally IMBECILIC and IRRESPONSIBLE.

The only thing that these Democrat CREEPS care about is getting elected!

A Quick Fix for the Stock Market

The best idea that I've heard so far for fixing the Stock Market is simply to add some WAITING PERIODS.

The Stock Market should go back to what it was INTENDED to be: A vehicle for investing in public corporations. It should DUMP what it has become: A corrupt roulette wheel, where suckers are systematically milked by hyperintelligent Wall Street thieves. All of this under some ASSININE definition of the "free market".

The Stock Market bears little relation to the free market. It is nothing more than an IDIOTIC roulette wheel that bears little relationship to the brick and mortar companies that it supposedly represents.

How things should work: When people BUY stock, there should be a minimum time commitment. If you were to invest in your buddy's business, wouldn't you be willing to invest your money for some minimal amount of time, like a month or a year?

Secondly, before selling, sellers should be required to give some specific amount of lead time. Perhaps a month. This would at least give companies some time to gather up liquidity.

This would also help honest, decent companies fight off degenerate, SCUMBAG corporate raiders who have DEVASTATED American business and industry. These slimy, greedy, sleezeball, scumbags have put innumerable good, honest, businesses into bankruptcy.

If these 2 features were put into place, the Stock Market would no longer have sudden dips and spikes. It would still proceeed slowly upward and downward, but it would not drop thousands of points in a week!

The $2.5 trillion dollar dip in the Stock Market last week was totally and completely IDIOTIC. The leaders of the SEC should be imprisoned for STUPIDITY. This dip bears no relation to the "free market" whatsoever. The Stock Market has become some idiotic roulette wheel.

McCain Should Drop Out

Here's an idea. McCain should drop out and let Mitt Romney take his place. Why not? McCain is a goner. His plane has been shot down and he's floating to the ground in his parachute. He's a goner.

Why not give Mitt Romney a chance at a Hail Mary? He probably SHOULD have been the candidate, but dorky Huckabee split the conservative vote.

Mitt Romney is an impressive guy: Valedictorian at Brigham Young, graduate Cum Laude from Harvard with a dual MBA/Law degree, FANTASTICALLY successful in business, governor of liberal Massachusetts, a tough debater.

I've always thought that Mitt Romney LOOKS the most presidential of anyone.

I really HATE the idea of Obama as President. He is to inexperienced, too arrogant and too RACIST. Yes, he is a BLACK RACIST.

Why hasn't McCain hammered Obama on the 20 years of his attending BLACK RACIST Church? Going on Farrakhan's millon man march? McCain's a fool. He's been nice to Obama, and Obama has destroyed him, just he destroyed Hillary. Slandered them to death.

Obama is SUCH a complete SLEEZEBALL. But I'll probably still vote for him, since the Repubs aren't offering any choice. McCain seems totally out of touch on this economic crisis. Mitt Romney would be GOOD on it.

Sarah Palin has SPIRIT and inate intelligence. But she does not have any sort of real political intelligence. She will probably acquire it, but doesn't have it now.

Yeah, McCain should come up with some lame excuse to drop out, and then pick Mitt Romney to take over. He could say that his cancer has come back and his head is about to explode.

McCain's only chance at this point is total, THERMO-NUCLEAR negative advertising.

I am still AMAZED that they haven't hammered more on Wright. A couple months ago I was sure that the Republicans would try to acquire every audio tape and every video tape that Jeremiah Wright ever made. I'm sure that there would be DOZENS of "Gawd Dayum Amayreekah" moments there. But McCain hasn't touched that, and he SHOULD have.

The WORST part of Obama attending Wright's church for 20 years is that Obama must have forged deep friendships with many, many BLACK RACISTS at the church. How many of these black racists will Obama pick for important posts in his administration? How many other black racists will those black racists hire?

I'm sick of all these people who think that the only kind of racism is white racist. Black racism is just as bad when blacks reach a presidential level.

David Brooks Calls Palin a Cancer to Repub Party

Palin is an extremely talented speaker. She is just as charismatic as Obama. But she is AWFUL when discussing issues. All the Democrats really have to do is to pin her down to detailed knowledge, since she doesn't have much detailed knowledge outside of Alaska issues.

Her best approach is to imitate Bush and ALWAYS "answer" IN-MESSAGE. Which is to say, don't answer at all. Her handlers should absolutely and positively PROHIBIT her from having ANY interviews with anybody to the left of Sean Hannity. Unless, possibly, they provide a pre-arranged list of questions, with editing rights. Live interviews? NO WAY.

Left alone, she is worse than Biden in yakkity yak. She apparently feels that she must provide some BS answer for every question, when it would be much better to simply say "I don't know" , or just spew some "message".

For example, when asked about "other Supreme Court decisions", she could have simply said "I oppose reconstructionist decisions which are inconsistent with the ideas of our founding fathers." Or, I oppose any decision that violates the basic rights of American citizens, like their God given right to bear arms. Good stuff. Pure BS.

Her best strategy would be to have thoroughly researched Biden's 30 year record and to have memorized every vote that he made that contradicted an opinion that he currently holds. I'm sure that there are MANY, which is why Senators rarely get elected President.

In this way, Palin can put Biden on the defensive and get him into a talkative mood, where he will try desperately to explain away every contradictory vote or contradictory statement he has made in the past 30 years, while Palin has no record to protect. Except the Bridge to Nowhere and Troopergate.

With Biden in Verbose Mode, he can not only be counted on to make gaffs, but he will also eat up the time. Ideally, Palin should say as little as possible all evening. Let it be all about Biden attempting to defend his 'dismal" record of 30 years of contradictory votes as a Washington insider. While Palin is as fresh and pure as the driven snow of Alaska.

A Debate Strategy for Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is a GREAT speaker, but a HORRIBLE debater/interviewee. It looks like her greatest problem seems to be that she feels some compulsion to answer all questions, even ones for which she doesn't know the answer. In other words, to bullshit when she doesn't know the answer.

That really killed her in the Couric interviews. When Couric asked her about "what other Supreme Court decisions she disagreed with", she should have said one of the following:
1. I would have to research that further. I would disagree with any decisions that stray from the original intent of the constitution.
2. Which did you have in mind?
3. Which would you suppose that I disagree with?

A PALIN STRATEGY

First off, Palin should state her admiration for Biden's long record and his superior knowledge of Washington insider information.

Biden's greatest strength is also his greatest vulnerability: His 30 year record. There are probably dozens of votes that appear to be contradictory if taken out of context. And of course, they MUST be taken out of context.

Palin and the Republicans should make up a detailed list of all Biden votes, over the past 30 years, that contradict his current positions or the positions of Obama. Palin needs to MEMORIZE this list and use it endlessly.

This will make Biden defensive, ANGRY and LOQUACIOUS. He will start talking voluminously in order to defend his record. He will explain his logic in huge detail which will be extremely BORING and make him look evasive and defensive.

And of course, the more he talks, the more likely he will make a gaff, and the more likely he will be HONEST. Because honestly, Biden is really not that much of an Obama fan.

Confront Biden on why he suddenly thinks that Obama is qualified, when he considered him to be "inexperienced" in the primaries.

Most importantly, Palin should work very hard to disguise her vast ignorance. She should basically be as TERSE as possible, and stick to MESSAGE.

This is what Bush did very successfully in previous debates. He disguised his ignorance by simply barfing back MESSAGE whenever asked any question.

For example, if asked what specific Supreme Court decisions she disagrees with, she should generate a specific MESSAGE, like "any that violate the original intent of the constitution." "Any that voilate the Bill of Rights", like decisions to deprive people of their second amendment rights. Etc.

She must thoroughly memorize all-purpose, generic MESSAGE answers that can be used as answers to questions. If anybody comes back and says "that doesn't answer my question", then she should say "I just ANSWERED your question".

Viewers won't care too much. Facial expressions, body language and humor are very important. She should never lose her cool and remain always Tina Fey-like, while Biden goes off the deep end in total frustration, from trying to convince a potato that he is right.

She must be EXTREMELY complimentary and female to Biden, since Biden is very gallant and gentlemanly.

So it should be an interesting game.

This Week I'm Leaning Toward Obama

Last week I was favoring McCain, but this week I'm leaning toward Obama. The reason: This economic disaster business. If there is going to be a great depression, I would rather have the Democrats in charge during it, rather than the Republicans. The Republicans will let us all starve to death. They couldn't care less.

Hopefully, Obama is not totally full of BS. I still tend to see him as a con-artist, but hopefully I'm wrong and he has some real idealism. That's too good to hope for.

I still trust McCain more than Obama as a person and as a leader, but he's sticking to all this "trickle down" drivel that simply no longer works. And he's too old to change or to really consider new ideas.

Ordinarily I would favor McCain's emphasis on cutting spending. America continues to spend money like a French whore on payday. America needs to tighten it's belt. But the Democrats have all sorts of big spending plans.

Still, at least the Democrats focus on helping the lower and middle classes, and they need help after all of the welfare that Bush has given billionaires.

Joe Biden Should Quit

Here is one way that the Democrats could still win: Get Joe Biden to QUIT. Joe Biden should simply say, as he partly said yesterday: "I do not want to be responsible for the Democratic Party losing this election. I think that there are other people better suited to be Vice President. I therefore withdraw from this election."

Then, Obama would have 3 choices to replace him: Hillary, Hillary, or Hillary. Period. This is his last opportunity to compensate for what could be a FATAL ERROR.

With Hillary on board as VP, the Republicans are TRUMPED. Palin gets a one-way bus ticket back to Wasilla.

This would also be a BRILLIANT move for Joe Biden. If Obama/Biden loses, he is going to be political dead meat. He is going to be blamed because he was obviously the wrong VP pick. Further, Obama will throw him under the bus to try to less his own responsibility for stealing the nomination from Hillary.

I Biden quits, he becomes an instant SUPER-HERO to much of the Democratic Party. Smart Democrats know that it was a DISASTER to not pick Hillary for VP (not to mention not picking her for Pres).

That's the only solution. Otherwise, the Democrats are probably going to lose. The Democrats currently have about a 20% probability of winning the election.

Undoubtedly. Palin is the direct result of Obama's arrogant dismissal of Hillary. If Obama had Hillary, McCain would have picked Mitt Romney.

Palin gives McCain almost everything: He gets much of the "scorned" Hillary vote. Even tho Palin is conservative, Hill hath no fury like a woman scorned (to quote a pundit). Many women have been furious at the way that the Obama camp, if not Obama, treated Hillary.

She also energizes the Republican base and brings them into the race with their 100% fanatical enthusiasm. Palin's un-aborted Down's syndrome baby might as well be a picture of Jesus Christ.

While energizing the base, she is also charming enough to not alienate moderates and independents. Just about everybody likes her, except the Obama people, who are howling like so many wounded Mooses.

On top of everything else, she is energizing and complementing McCain himself. She's as much a rock star as Obama, but she does not mind focusing the attention on John McCain, who she always trumpets in glowing terms. This is also helpful, because John McCain is too self-deprecating to toot his own horn very much.

All I can say is that it now looks like the Republicans have the edge. Once again, I say that it is very sad that Obama did not have the Wisdom to accept the number 2 spot on a Hillary/Obama ticket, because that indeed would have been a winning ticket.

I'm a lifelong Democrat. The only exception was to vote for Reagan in 1980 because Carter was a disaster. Now I am genuinely undecided. Obama is smart, but undefined. He also seems to REFUSE to reveal who or what he is.
McCain should be hammering Obama for not accepting his 10-Townhall-debate challenge. McCain should repeat this challenge every single day. It is not only effective, but maybe, just maybe, it would shame Obama into actually debating.

Obama has been extraordinarily hypocritical. He says that he wants to discuss "issues", rather than have negative ad wars, but yet he refuses to meet with McCain for these 10 Townhall meetings. He also refused to debate Hillary at the end of the Primaries. We have gone for MONTHS since we have seen Obama, or McCain, in a debate situation. This is DETESTABLE. Much of this is the fault of the media, which does not call him on it.

All we get from Obama are these STUPID speeches about "hope", and "race", and apple pie. WHERE'S THE BEEF, OBAMA!!!

I for one no longer even view Obama as a "great speaker". I think that he's a great big BORE. He is only a great speaker to members of the choir, who seem to cherish his every word. I find him boring and not worth listening to. I find it ASTOUNDING that people could even conceive of him being president. Hillary CAN NOT heal the wounds. There are huge numbers of Democratic voters who did not vote for her. They voted AGAINST Obama. Many, like myself, voted for Bill. There is no doubt in my mind that the BEST thing for America at this time would be a third Bill Clinton term.

As one of those "evil" Florida voters who voted for Hillary, whether or not Hillary supports Obama is a total and complete IRRELEVANCY to me. At the current time, altho I am lifelong Democrat (except voting for Reagan in 1980), I am currently legitimately undecided.

I am very disappointed in Obama's hypocrisy. He says that he wants an election based on the discussion of issues. Why then did he REFUSE McCain's very reasonable offer to have 10 townhall debate/discussions? Why did he refuse Hillary's reasonable offer to have unmediated debates at the the end of the primary?

Unfortunately, Obama is a very "traditional" hack-politician in that he prefers to hide out while his supporters spend tens of millions of dollars on stupid negative ads. Face-to-face townhall debates would avoid this negative ad war.

Negative ads are annoying to me because they tell me nothing about either party. My idea? Pass a LAW saying that Presidential candidates MUST debate face-to-face EVERY WEEK. Unfortunately, none of them have the gonads to do that. They just want to sell us a president like a tube of toothpaste.

If Obama would meet with McCain for 10 townhall debates, I think that I would be MUCH more likely to vote for Obama. IF he does well. I think that this would reveal what Obama is REALLY about. Obama does not come off as "real". Where is the guy who went to Jeremiah Wright's church every week for 20 years? And don't give me any preposterous nonsense that that has no meaning. We need to know what Obama is about BEFORE he takes up residency at the White House.

And enough with the stupid mass-rally speeches. We get it. Obama is a great speaker. So what? A president has to be able to go head-to-head with heads-of-state of hostile countries. What are Obama's abilities in this regard? Let's see how McCain and Obama stack up in this regard. Darn. I was still hoping, deep down, that Hillary could win on the Convention floor. Let's face it: Obama just won by the margin of Superdelegates. If Hillary could get 150 Supers to change their minds, we could have an Obama/Hillary ticket. Wouldn't that be just SO much better? I think so.

I like Pink Albums. I have shoes older than her, but she has a really sexy voice and gets me hot. Her hit "Stupid Girl" is really a magnificent piece. All sorts of tidbits are layered in just perfectly.

It was funny when I went into the record store (am I giving away my age?) and asked for the "Pink" album. He looked at me really puzzled and said "are you SURE you want PINK"? Apparently it was incomprehensible to this guy that an old fart like myself would like Pink.

Her range of moods is quite interesting. She goes from being sensitive and introspective to being an outrageous bitch with incredible ease. And her music is very good technically. And very hot.

I got ahold of "Queen's Greatest Hits". Very good. Queen was really pretty extraordinary. My favorites were "Killer Queen", "We are the Champions", "We Will Rock You". Very interesting lyrics and harmonies. I'm going to listen to more of the songs that I didn't pay attention to before.

Israel-centric Jews are extremely leery of someone named "Hussein". Why doesn't Obama just change his middle name to "Hitler"? 10) While it is NICE that Obama says that he supports Israel, the previous nine points indicate that his true feelings may be otherwise.

Don’t get me wrong. I actually LIKE Obama. But he is WAY too inexperienced and too much of an unknown quantity to be sitting in the White House. Actually, he is a total and complete ARROGANT FOOL. The PERFECT SOLUTION for everyone would have been a Hillary/Obama ticket. 1) It would obviously have been good for Hillary. 2) It would have good for Obama, since it would virtually guarantee that he would be elected President in 2016, after 8 years of Billary. 3) It would have been best for the Democratic Party, since it would have given them 16 years of the White House. 4) It would have been best for the USA, because we would have had the proven experience of Bill Clinton in the White House to repair the economy and the nation.

But no. Arrogant FOOL Obama has to jump the gun. He does not need to “stew” as the Vice President. He ALREADY knows it ALL. He does not need further training for the most important job in the World. After all, he was a SENATOR for a year. What more does he need?

Yeah, there is still a CHANCE that Obama will win the election. But even then, he will be so GROSSLY unprepared for the job, that the next 4 years will wind up being a total disaster. Maybe in 2012 he will have had enough on-the-job training to get re-elected. But maybe not.

Adulterers: John Edwards & John McCain

The following was in response to a video of Hannity arguing with Colmes. Hannity was making a big deal out of Edwards cheating on his wife, but ignoring McCain cheating on his.

Colmes was definitely very good in the video, and a welcome relief. First of all, I had not known that McCain had an affair on his first wife. Nor do I really give a shirt, but it IS important since if I didn't know about it, then a lot of other people do not know about it either. Nor do I think that Hannity's protestations about McCain having been in the prison camp really justify his cheating. His having been away for 5 years should have brought him closer to his wife, not farther away. Also, having been in a prison camp is essentially logically irrelevant, UNLESS he was cheating while in the prison camp. That would indeed be justifiable. But I don't get the connection about afterwards.

I'm also getting tired of people bashing Edwards so much. He is no longer really a public figure. He is not a senator, he is not a presidential candidate, and he has not been seriously discussed as a VP candidate. So he is essentially a "civilian". It is not really justifiable to go all balistic over this scandal. It would be different if he were still a presidential candidate, but he is not.

I'm also sick and tired of these RETARDED radio talk show hosts saying that every single thing that Edwards said was totally false and hypocritical. How so? His having an affair has nothing whatsover to do with the sincerity or the correctness of his political beliefs. It merely reveals that he has difficulty keeping his ding-dong in his pants. How does that make him a hypocrite? Maybe a pervo, but not a hypocrite.

John Edwards has sacrificed a huge amount of time and money to run for the presidency, and it has all come to naught. His wife has cancer, and even tho he cheated on her, that does not mean that he has not been terribly saddened and burdened by this disease. The fact that Edwards had sex with a (relatively) young blonde does not mean that he doesn't love and care for his wife. A lot of middle aged women have a tolerant attitude toward their husbands playing around, because it really does NOT mean very much. John Edwards was not deserting his wife, nor divorcing her (as McCain had done), he was merely getting his rocks off.

As far as his being rich and greedy and having expensive haircuts, the fact is that Edwards has sacrificed HUGE amounts of money in order to run for President. If he were really so greedy, he would simply have REMAINED a trial lawyer. He hasn't made 2 cents in many, many years. He could have been VASTLY wealthier if he had remained a trial lawyer.

So I say to the Righties: Give it a rest. Edwards is just a civilian. There is no justification for this to be such a big "scandal", any more than if your neighbor was cheating on his wife. And yes, John McCain is at least as bad, or even more so, because he IS running for President.

My personal feeling is that Obama's biggest failure has been his ALOOFNESS, as expressed by his REFUSAL to debate. It has now been MONTHS since we have seen Obama in a DEBATE situation. Obama is STRONLGLY Fire/Air. Fire/Air represents change, since fire destroys so that no structures can emerge. Air is necessary to feed the flames. Air is intellect. Sound familiar? If you vote for Obama, better buy an asbestos suit!

McCain has his most important planets in Virgo. Virgo is an earth sign. Its a common sign, which is why McCain is very at-home in Town Hall Meetings. King Obama HATES Town Hall Meetings. King Obama HATES rubbing shoulders with the masses (no matter what he says). That is why he is perceived as arrogant.

McCain loves the contact with the common folk, and HATES speeches. Virgos hate giving speeches and aren't good at it. McCain's moon is in Capricorn, which is ALSO an earth sign. That makes him a double-earther. I LIKE that. I might vote for McCain just on the basis of his horoscope.

Earth signs are more conservative, as well as more conservationist. Earth signs are most at-one with the earth. That promising. That would indicate that in a real sense, McCain might be even more of a conservationist than Obama, despite being a Republican.

Would Republicans Bet their Balls Against Drilling Disasters?

I find it somewhat annoying that most of these vociferous Republicans screaming for offshore drilling live in land-locked states. Heck, if you live in Colorado or Illinois, what difference does it make to YOU if there is a massive Exxon-Valdez-style disaster on the Florida coast?

As a Floridian, it makes a BIG difference to me. There is very little advantage to Floridians to do offshore oil drilling. That is why the last Governor of Florida, a notorious tree-hugging commie named Jeb Bush, was solidly behind prohibiting offshore drilling.

The Florida economy, and the people of Florida, have a HUGE stake in keeping the Florida Coasts clean. Even ignoring environmentalist issues, there is a HUGE amount of money at stake.

Rich tourists come to Florida from all over the USA and all over the world. People like Donald Trump spend millions, or even tens of millions of dollars to build oceanfront estates in Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and other places. Retirees flock to the state from all over the USA.

And why do they come here? Beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, fresh ocean breezes, world-class sport fishing, even bird-watching.

In 2005, Florida got hit by Hurricane Wilma. At one point, when Wilma was out in the Gulf of Mexico, it had ramped up to a record-breaking 180 MPH. Call that "category 6". "Category 5" is total nuclear destruction. Don't ask me what "category 6" is.

But John McCain, in his infinite wisdom, says that the offshore drilling rigs would hold up OK against hurricanes. Apparently most survived Katrina.

Sorry to interject fact here, but the key to destruction in a hurricane is how far you are from Ground Zero, the "eye wall". So those rigs that "survived Katrina" may have been FAR from the Ground Zero, only picking up category 1 or 2 winds.

A 180 MPH hurricane means SUSTAINED WINDS of 180 MPH which could last for HOURS, or even DAYS. Think about driving your car at 180 MPH and sticking your head out the window. Maybe you could do that for a couple seconds, but how about for 10 hours? There would be nothing left of you.

An offshore oil rig would not only be exposed to 180 MPH winds, but also a literal MOUNTAIN of ocean swells. The tidal surge would reach 25 feet, and the speed of the current could get up to 100 MPH or more.

Do you really think that some intricate contraption like an oil platform is going to be able to stand 180 MPH winds plus a sustained mountain of additional water moving at 100 MPH? That hurricane would rip the oil rigs pipes out by the sockets. There would be nothing left of it.

That would live the pumps pumping into the ocean for at least a day or two before anybody could even get NEAR the site to fix it. Plus, how are they going to go a mile down in the water to fix the kind of HUGE damage that could take place?

So I have a modest proposal for McCain and the Republicans. You say that you REALLY BELIEVE that your offshore oil rigs would survive a Category 6 hurricane without it being an environmental disaster?

OK. Guarantee it with a pound of your flesh. That's right. Guarantee it with old Prince Ferdinand of Wanger down there. The guy who stands rigidly at attention when the Swedish Bikini team marches by. Sir William, the Duke of Dork.

And if there is an environmental disaster caused by offshore oil drilling, us Floridians could expect that most of the Republican leadership would be willing to undergo surgical castration.

That's right. All the big mouths who are now promising that offshore drilling is so safe: John McCain, George Bush, Newt Gingrich, Shawn Hannity, Bill O, et al.

If all of these Republican Biggies would be willing to sign a sworn statement, in blood, that they would undergo surgical castration if their promise that no harm would come of offshore drilling proved true, then I might consider changing my opinion.

Kind of a nice way to keep all these Politicians Motor-mouths honest. They might think twice about making promises that are not realistic.

Paris Hilton's outrageously smart and funny ad shows that she may be just as good a VP pick as anyone. Heck, Obama could pick a female running mate and not have all that overhead that he would get from Hillary. Paris would not bother Obama. She would spend her time going on diplomatic tanning tours to Africa, where she would be worshipped as a White Goddess.

Then Obama could continue as the newly elected Emperor of the USA, without being bothered by contrary opinions. Great solution!

While it is certain impressive that Obama can gather a crowd of 200,000 Germans, it is also rather weird. Somehow it seems inappropriate for him to be making these speeches. It is as if he thinks that he is already president, or he thinks that he is a diplomat. He is only a junior senator at this point.

He seems to be rather presumptuous, or possibly delusional, in this regard. He is acting as if he is already the President, and he is not. He is acting as if he is John F. Kennedy, and he is not.

Another disturbing incident is that after Obama's visit, Iran changed their stance on Nuclear development. Is this because Iran was taking a queue from Obama's dovish stance, and his popularity?

This is part of what I'm talking about. Obama is setting himself up as some sort of major American ambassador/policy-making, and he is not. If he wins the election, fine. But for now, he is just a neophyte and a candidate. He is not a person who should be representing himself as a major spokesman for U.S. foreign policy.

If reminds a little of Godfather 1, where Sonny jumps into the conversation between Vito Corleone and Sollozzo the Turk. Don Corleone essentially tells him to shut up while he's talking. Afterwards, Don Corleone says to Sonny to, in effect, never talk to outsiders about the affairs of the family.

And so it is with Obama. He's over there in Germany bubbling away with "brilliant" advice and campaign BS, and he is really someone who is totally un-authorized to be stating American policy. And indeed, as the Iranians have shown, his statements can have a very unintended effect.

Curiously, on CNN they were commiserating for John McCain because he was giving a news conference to 1 reporter in a Food Mart. But interestingly, McCain might be the smarter of the two. McCain remarked how shocking it was that a gallon of milk was over $4 a gallon. That is what Americans REALLY care about now. They don't give a hoot about Germany, and they aren't really listening to Emperor Augustus Obamus's brillian speeches about Global partnerships, etc.

But they DO pay attention when John McCain goes to a food store and shares their real concerns about the price of milk. This is in sharp contrast to Bush, who has pooh-poohed increases in food prices, and who never goes to Food Marts. Obama also apparently never goes to Food Marts.

That may be why old John McCain seems to be making some progress at cutting Obama's lead.

Better to be Last to Pick a VP

Being the first of the two candidates to pick a VP is not smart. It's much better to wait for the other one to make his pick, and then strategize against that.

For example, if Obama picks a MALE VP, then the strongest VP for McCain becomes Condi. That would pick up a lot of the disgruntled female Democrats who will be furious about Hillary being passed over. Condi would also steal Obama's black thunder. He would no longer be so important, because blacks would be getting a black Prez or VP either way. So black voter turnout would go way down, plus Obama would lose black conservatives who would other vote for him.

On the other hand, if Obama picks Hillary, Condi is a much less attractive pick. Then, his best pick becomes Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney will pick Democrats who are annoyed with having a female VP as well as all of the Blue Dog Democrats who will be repulsed by having two very liberal candidates.

Similarly, Obama could adjust his choice against who McCain chooses, if he does indeed choose early.

I think that either Mitt Romney or Condi would be formidable opponents to Obama. Old Huck isn't the worst either. He plays a mean guitar. But his policies are totally insane.

Obama Looking Good on Diplomatic Tour

I take back what I said a couple days ago (see below). Obama is actually looking pretty good meeting with all of those heads of state. Most importantly, he looks strong and comfortable meeting with them, and they seem to have a liking and a respect for him.

This is actually the kind of activity that I have been looking for. I've been very annoyed with Obama for just giving us nice, safe, pre-digested BS. I find TV commercials to be annoying, and I dislike his speeches, because they go unchallenged.

I want to see him in more one-on-one situations where he can't so easily BS his way thru it. At least these diplomatic situations are one-on-one's with important people, so they show that he is not just an empty suit.

I really think that it would be to Obama's advantage to debate McCain one-on-one in those Town Hall meetings. He should not be avoiding them. Certainly Obama will LOOK much better than McCain, since he is taller, younger, healthier and better-looking. He also needs to show that he isn't afraid of McCain, and that he isn't afraid of the truth.

Part of the reservations that people have against Obama is that they don't feel that they know him. So it does not help him to avoid debating McCain, just as it did not help him to avoiding Hillary in the final weeks of the primary.

But as you can see, Obama has increased my respect for him by appearing with important foreign dignitaries.

Obama's Michael Dukakis Moment?

It appears that Obama in Iraq is in grave danger of committing another Michael Dukakis. You know, where Dukakis is riding in a tank with a helmet, looking totally out-of-place?

It seems to be much the same with Obama in Iraq. Like some out-of-place Alfred E. Neuman, Obama is over there telling military generals and foreign policy experts how to run the war.

On one side of the room are the seasoned officers and military generals, who have been in Iraq and Afghanistan for a couple years now. Along with foreign policy experts on that area of the world.

And over there is Obama. Like some goofy-looking cross between Alfred E. Neuman and Rocket J. Squirrel, telling all of the military brass how to run the war.

I think that it highlights a serious problem of Obama's: Arrogance. Since when is HE so smart. What evidence is there that HE has all the answers. He has never even gone thru Basic Training. He has hardly even visited the area. But yet he is telling all of the military and foreign-policy experts, who have been fighting and sweating over there for years, what they need to do. What makes HIM so special? What evidence is there that he knows his posterior from a hole in the ground?

Very little, I would say.

I am getting increasingly impatient with Obama's refusal to debate McCain. First, he refused to debate Hillary for the final 2 months of the primary. Now, he refuses to debate McCain. Instead, all we get are endless TV commercials and long, boring speeches.

It is only by seeing Obama under STRESS, in a head-to-head encounter with McCain, that people will come to feel they know him in any way. I do NOT watch his TV ads and I do NOT listen to his speeches. These are just BS.

I want to see what the guy is made of.

McCain Should Taunt Obama About Debates

I haven't seen a huge amount of favoritism for Obama over McCain from the press. However, there was a HUGE amount of favoritism for Obama over Hillary. It was OBSCENE: Chris Matthews and the chill up his leg. Keith Olbermann attacking Hillary every day like some insane pit-bull while mercilessly sucking up to Obama.

Quite frankly, I think that it is SHOCKING that Obama was able to get away with not debating Hillary for the final 2 months of the primary. And it is equally shocking that he has been able to so easily ignore McCain's invitation to Town Hall debates.

Obama always speaks unopposed. Either he is giving a speech to thousands of screaming teeny-boppers, or else he is appearing on a TV commercial. Occasionally he is interviewed by some TV interviewer who supports him. He never appears with any TV interviewer who opposes him.

But this can work against him, because a lot of people simply feel that they don't know who or what he really is. That could be better defined with more head-to-head Town Hall debates.

McCain should challenge Obama more. He should taunt him about why he won't accept his challenge to debate. I am sick and tired of seeing Obama's "act". I am sick and tired of seeing the well-rehearsed Obama giving yet another speech full of little digs that go unopposed and unanswered. I am sick and tired of endless TV ads paid for by all his money. He's no different than Bush.

Indeed, the press is AWOL. The press should be blasting Obama for not debating. But they don't say anything. Maybe they're all afraid of being labelled "racists", and all of the trouble that that can be.

On Michelle Obama

I dont' see any reason why Michelle is beyond criticism. Her statement about being proud to be an American for the first time is what it is.

She and Obama are constantly saying "what I REALLY meant was...". What a crock. We KNOW what you meant, Michelle. We are not idiots. You are a good communicator.

If elected, Michelle Obama will be a VERY powerful person. She is not a First Lady who will stay home and bake cookies. She will be a relentless activist. Cindy McCain, on the other hand, WILL stay at home and bake cookies, and brew beer. No need to criticize her, because she will not be an activist First Lady. But what would you criticize her for anyway?

I'm sick and tired of Obama being SECRETIVE about what he is. He refused to debate Hillary for the final 2 months of the primary. Now he has CHICKENED-OUT of debating McCain at Town Hall meetings.

All Obama wants to do is give us endless commercials about himself, and treat us to rambling "brilliant" speeches which he addresses to audiences of 50,000 teeny-boppers.

Altho I'm a Democrat, I am beginning to serious question Obama's qualifications for President. And indeed, I have NO IDEA who this guy really is.

Florida Democrats Suffering Existential Crisis

As a Florida Democrat, I am suffering an existential crisis. The DNC has informed us that only 50% of me exists. I would really like to go to the Democratic Convention, but how can I go, when there is only 50% of me?

Will it be my better half or my worse half? My left half or my right half? My top half or my bottom half? My motivation is halfhearted. Am I only half a man?

Hopefully, the Democrats at the Convention will resolve this existential crisis.

On John McCain's Character

I would admit that McCain has more kudos on his side for heroism and self-sacrifice, but unfortunately, that is NOT what this election is about.

What this election is ABOUT is finding solutions to critical problems, particularly ECONOMIC problems, that are threatening to destroy this country.

It is NOT the Islamofascists who are most seriously threatening to destroy America. It is the emerging competitive nations, particularly the Asian ones, which are threatening American hegemony.
Asia has almost totally taken the lead in technology and electronics. Asia is rapidly taking over as the center of the world. The western world is turning into a bunch of dumb hillbillies who don't even know how to build an electric car. Freeking Toyota did all the work on the Hybrid engine. Remember long, long ago when WE used to lead the world in technology?
How on earth we are going to remain technically superior to our enemies is a complete mystery. Soon, China and India are going to be FAR advanced over America in terms of smart weapons technology. The American corporations have traitorously moved their operations to every cheap-labor country that they can find, without the slightest concern that they are destroying America's national security.

Unfortunately, McCain has not shown any propensity for new ideas, and has also admitted his weakness in Economics. And this is time when Economics is CRITICAL for America's very survival. Dumb and Dumber in the White House are DESTROYING America with their 2% Fed interest rates. They have spent the last 8 years giving away free money to the big corporations who have given America almost NOTHING in return, except to export our jobs to whatever cheap-labor hell-hole is most willing to do their dirty work.

McCain is probably a better man than Obama in terms of character, but so what? If McCain can't solve the critical problems that America faces, which require NEW ideas utilizing NEW technology, then he will become just another Herbert Hoover, trying to fix the Great Depression with tax cuts, shoe laces and bubble gum.

Lets face it: Republican ideology has FAILED, and it has failed dramatically. The economy is a MESS. The people who least need it have gotten the most help from tax cuts. And rather than their money trickling down, the rich's money has tricked OVER to Asia. Iraq, of course, is a disaster as well. Another cross for McCain to bear.

Lets face it. I am not in love with Obama. I would have greatly preferred Hillary. But when you look at the TOTAL FAILURE of Republicanomics in the past 8 years, and the massive WASTE of this endless, poorly-managed war, the fact is that MICKEY MOUSE could elected President if he ran as a Democrat! The Republicans offer us NOTHING.

Please. Is there somebody, ANYBODY, in the Republican Party who has a new and original idea about ANYTHING? I doubt it. Beam me up, Scotty.

R U SMART ENUF TO SOLVE THE OIL PUZZLE?

OK, here's the REAL $300 million dollar project. There is a way that oil consumption could be cut by 75% in the USA. Almost overnight. Without new technology. Without drilling 20,000 leagues under the sea. Without getting Nanook of the North to dig mooseholes in Alaska.

Are you ready to compete for the $300 mill prize? OK. Look at the cars on the Interstates during rush hour. 90% of them have only ONE person in the car.

That means that there is room for an average of FOUR other passengers in almost every single car and SUV on the road today. Consequently, the solution to America's oil problem is simple enough for an IDIOT to understand: Fill up EVERY car with five passengers!

Yes, it is THAT simple. Fill up EVERY car with FIVE passengers, and you IMMEDIATELY reduce America's oil consumption by as much as 75%!!!

How do you accomplish this solution? That's up to you, genius boy (or genius girl). Here's a hint: Use THE PROFIT MOTIVE. Yeah, remember the profit motive? It REALLY WORKS! Honest!

Somehow, get the four passengers to pay the driver a couple bucks to take them where they want to go. Voila. Who wouldn't want to pick up 10 or 20 bucks extra just to take a couple people where they're going?

Here's another hint: Use MODERN TECHNOLOGY. Cell phones allow people waiting at bus stops to call you on the phone. GPS systems make it easy to take people where they want to go. Computer databases mean that people can pay you with credit cards so that you don't need to carry cash. Computer ID cards guarantee that passengers and drivers are not criminals.

So, are U smart enuf to solve this problem? Maybe Senator McCain will give you $300 million if you do.

This is THE MOST IMPORTANT PROBLEM in America today. Get to work on solving it. I know you can do it.

Forgetting Russert, Remembering Our Dead Troops

Don't get me wrong. I've always been a big fan of Tim Russert. I regularly watched his Sunday show and other events that he has hosted. However, I am getting really bored and annoyed with this endless bathos-a-thon of remembering him.

In fact, I am totally sick and tired of ALL of these bathos-a-thons whenever someone "important" croaks. I remember when Gerald Ford croaked, they flew the flag at half staff at the White House (or was that for Ronny Ray-Gun?), and held these endless memorial bathos-a-thons.

So I say "screw the elites". There are DOZENS of deaths and injuries every day that are just as tragic as Tim Russert's. After all, Tim Russert lived a very rich and rewarding life. He died somewhat prematurely, but he still lived a full life. He also had the blessing of dying a QUICK death, rather than rotting away in a nursing home from Alzheimers for 5 years.

So I am proposing a NEW TV series! I call it "Ten Minutes of Glory". On the "Ten Minutes of Glory" show, EACH SOLDIER who got killed that day would get 10 minutes, exclusively about his or her life story.

It could be just like the Tim Russert bathos-a-thon, except condensed to 10 minutes. We could hear from the dead soldier's mom and dad, sister(s) and brother(s), grandparents, friends, teachers, girl/boy friends, husband/wife, as well as son(s)/daughter(s).

I think that it would be VERY EASY to fill up 10 minutes about EACH dead soldier. I know that they may not be all that glamorous, but their deaths are TRULY tragic, and the least that they deserve is 10minutes of glory.

In fact, this would be an excellent program for Obama to sponsor. It would have somewhat of an anti-war effect, and Obama of course has 43 jillion dollars, so why not spend it on a show like "10 minutes of glory" rather than stupid TV ads?

So, no offense against Tim Russert or Gerald Ford, but I get really sick & tired of these bathos-a-thons whenever somebody "important" dies, but yet the THOUSANDS of soldiers who are defending America's freedom do not even get 10 minutes. That's BS.

Best Republican VP Picks

It looks the VP choice is going to be critical for both candidates. Increasingly, I think that the most effective Republican candidate would be Condi Rice. She would be particularly effective for three reasons:

First, she steals Obama's thunder. Blacks would no longer be so intensely for Obama, since they win either way: If the Dems win, they get a president, if the Republicans win, they get a Vice President.

Condi Rice also highlights a growing chasm within black society. The emerging black middle class is not so comfortable with the whole MLK, affirmative action, NAACP, nobody-is-a-criminal approach. As blacks start becoming more like everybody else, there will be more of a fragmentation of blacks into Republicans and Democrats.

Second, she could pick up some of the disaffected females of Hillary's clobbered campaign. These people are already leaning toward McCain simply out of aversion to Obama. McCain picking Condi would make him much more attractive to females. This would be especially the case if Obama is dumb enough to not pick Hillary for VP (which I think he is).

Third, she is extremely intelligent and capable.

MITT ROMNEY

The other good candidate is Mitt Romney. He is an effective antidote against Obama. His derisive in-your-face style will get under Obama's skin. It will cut thru his pompous posturing.

Seeing the McCain-Romney debate was very interesting. Romney is a true attack dog. He had McCain in a smirky tither. He could be very destructive of Obama, who is very thin-skinned, and not very effective, in debates.

Romney also LOOKS presidential. He probably looks the most presidential of any of the candidates thus far.

Romney was also Governor of Mass, a liberal state. He obviously knows how to reach across the aisle.

Romney has business and entrepreneurial experience. Obama does not. Obama doesn't have much experience at anything except community organizing and being a professional black dude.

That is helpful for winning elections, but what does he do afterwards?

The DNC is a Terrorist Organization

The Democratic National Committee operates like a TERRORIST organization. I say this it has NO GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER, but yet it insists on telling SOVEREIGN STATES what to do. It also DISENFRANCHISES voters, which is typical of TERRORIST organizations.

Consider Florida. Florida is a sovereign state. It is the fourth largest state in the USA. It has a population of 18 million people. It has a duly authorized and accepted state constitution. It has a duly elected Governor. It has a duly elected legislature. Its has 2 duly elected Senators and several duly elected Congressmen. It has a duly authorized Supreme Court and a comprehensive Judicial System.

When the Sovereign State of Florida scheduled the January 29 election, it conformed to all laws, rules and regulations. It conformed to all laws, rules and regulations at the federal, state and local level. It was approved by all LEGITIMATE governmental agencies.

So how then did the DNC see fit to DISENFRANCHISE Florida? Simple. TERRORISM! The DNC has ABSOLUTELY NO AUTHORITY to regulate or schedule elections, WHATSOVER.

The DNC is NOT an elected body. It is NOT appointed or approved as an official governmental institution.

The DNC is not even ELECTED by the Democrats of the USA! Howard Dean was NOT elected by the Democrats of the USA. He was picked by a bunch of stupid muck-a-mucks in Washington, DC. The same is true for Donna Brazile, who engineered the disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan, so beneficial to Obama.

It is totally PRESUMPTOUS for the DNC to assume that they enjoy the support of the Democratic VOTERS of the USA.

The DNC has NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to DISENFRANCHISE Florida!!!

I'm really sick and tired of this incessant drumbeat from the ObaMorons and the DNC Fascists that Hillary should just quit and endorse Oblablabla.

It doesn't make sense for Hillary to endorse Obama. She is WAY ahead of him in current polls of Electoral College results. Obama is slightly ahead of McCain, but Hillary is CLOBBERING McCain:

Obama 276, McCain 238.
Hillary 327, McCain 194.

It makes no sense whatsoever for Superdelegates to endorse Obama under these circumstances.

Additionally, no Superdelegate committments are FIRM until the convention.

Best path for Hillary: Lay low until the convention. Stand by as the Republicans begin to mercilessly pummel Obama. At the convention, if Obama is not doing better in the polls, Superdelegates will have no choice but to nominate her.

The nomination is entirely up to the Superdelegates at this point. This is what the Superdelegates were invented for: When the delegate system becomes totally flawed and favors a losing candidate.

Plus the fact that even pledged delegates can change their minds. Obama did not object when a Hillary pledged delegate went over to Obama. It goes both ways.

Hillary would be INSANE to endorse Obama now, UNLESS he gives her the Vice Presidency. But most likely he's too stupid to do that.

And besides. Just think how BORING the next 5 months will be with just Obama and McCain. Obama has been humming the same tune for the last 6 months: "Change we can believe in". Who is "we"? And what is the "change" that he keeps babbling about?

Top 2 reasons I dislike Obama: 1) He has refused to debate Hillary for the past several weeks. How are we supposed to even know what he is about if he will not debate Hillary? Also, Hillary suggested debates WITHOUT moderators, which would be MUCH more interesting than the CRAP that CNN came up with (more like a love-in).

2) Obama and his people have done everything in their power to prevent a revote or even a caucus in Florida and Michigan. He has supported the FASCISTIC disenfranchisement of Democratic voters in these 2 states. This is an act of 100% hypocrisy, since he is constantly blathering about how he cares about the disenfranchised.

Apparently Obama only cares about disenfranchised people who want to vote for HIM.

How Obama May Have Lost the Election for the Democrats

I find it highly amusing to hear the ObaManiacs saying that Hillary is hurting the Democrats' chances for winning the general election. In truth, Obama may well have inflicted the death blow on the Democrats by his multi-faceted attack on everything Clinton.

Drop back a year. Before Obama started campaigning. There was a very clear comparison out there: You could clearly compare 8 years of Democratic rule under Bill Clinton with 8 years of Republican rule under George Bush. The results are ASTOUNDING.

Under the 8 years of Clinton, we had 22 million new jobs, a massive surge in technological invention, a budget surplus and PEACE. Under 8 years of Bush, we have a net job loss, a brain drain of technology to Asia, a budget deficit, and WAR without end in sight.

Now who on earth would want to vote Republican after all that?

Unfortunately, Obama has TRASHED and OBSCURED all of that because of his SELFISH OBSESSION with defeating Hillary. He has beaten down Hillary by beating down the Clinton record. That, in turn, has VASTLY DIMINISHED the chances of a Democratic victory in 2008.

Because let's face it: The single STRONGEST argument to elect a Democrat in 2008 is simply that the Democratic administration of 1992-2000 was so VASTLY superior to the Republican administration of 2000-2008. But Mr. I-Love-The-Democratic-Party Obama, has virtually TRASHED all of that.

He has portrayed Hillary as a RACIST, which is an almost ASTOUNDING feat. He has portrayed Bill Clinton as an INCOMPETENT BUFFOON, who accomplished VIRTUALLY NOTHING from 1992 to 2000. He has stated that REAGAN, Lord of the Netherworld, was more TRANSFORMATIVE than the apparently un-transformative Clinton.

But all of this has thrown the Democrat's magnificent accomplishments into the trash heap of History. All of this massive trashing of the Democratic Party was so that Obama could beat Hillary.

At this point, of course, it is even becoming DUBIOUS that the Democrats can win. HIM in particular. While Hillary is still WINNING in the ELECTORAL counts, Obama is now LOSING to McCain!

So next time you hear Senator Oblablabla or his surrogates saying that they are so dedicated to a Democratic victory, remember that it has been Obama who has made that almost impossible.

Florida and Michigan Part of the Popular Vote

The Florida and Michigan primary elections ARE a part of the "popular vote count". Whether or not the worthless Fascists in the DNC decide to count them is irrelevant.

The Fascist Commissars of the DNC do indeed have the right to deny delegates to FL and MI, since that is part of their power within the Democratic Party structure. They also have the right to pick a candidate who is or is not the winner of the highest number of popular votes.

However, the PEOPLE of the sovereign states or Florida and Michigan DID vote, and the DNC has no influence, whatsoever, on the LEGITIMACY of that vote.

The elections in FL and MI followed ALL local, state and federal regulations and guidelines. They were totally LEGITIMATE elections. The DNC has NO GOVERNMENT POWER and NO SUPERVISORY POWER WHATSOVER in regard to these elections.

The DNC is a self-appointed, self-righteous collection of has-beens and never-been who ONLY have the right to translate the popular vote into their IDIOTIC delegate counts.

The fact that these MORONIC delegate counts have no relation to reality is part of the reason why there has only been ONE Democrat who won a Presidential election in the past 32 years (That person is named "Clinton" by the way).

The popular VOTE in Florida and Michigan DOES indeed COUNT. Neither the fat black witch Donna Brazille, nor the moronic screamer Howard Dean have the authority to negate the election.

The fact that Obama did not have his name on the ballot is, alas, his OWN RESPONSIBILITY. It is not Hillary's fault that Obama was too STUPID to have his name on the Michigan ballot.

And lets call a spade a spade: Obama took his name off of the ballot DELIBERATELY because the slimy little CHEAT KNEW that Hillary would CLOBBER him, just like she CLOBBERED the filthy little lying CHEAT in FLORIDA.

And if Obama thinks that that is unfair, then how come the COWARDLY little CHEAT has been too CHICKEN to have a revote or a caucus in FL or MI?

But the VOTE STANDS. The DNC HAS NO AUTHORITY WHATSOVER to negate the duly authorized and duly constituted public ELECTIONS held in Florida and Michigan.
