WHY SHOULD IOWEGIANS PICK THE PRESIDENT?

This year's most assinine decision? The decision by the DNC to only count half of Florida's vote. DUH!!!!!!!!!!! This is so stupendously, astronomically, IDIOTIC that I can not really express it in words.

Let's see. We are currently picking our Presidential candidates based upon the votes of the LEAST IMPORTANT STATES in the USA: Iowa and Rhode Island. Together, these two states have little more than 2 electoral votes.

At the same time, Florida, arguably the single MOST IMPORTANT swing state in the USA, is going to be TOTALLY IGNORED!!!!!

And then the DUMMY-CRATS wonder why they can't win a freeking election??????????????? DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

It is becoming increasingly apparent to me that the whole primary system is totally FUBAR'd. Is it any wonder that the parties wind up nominating totally boring and/or idiotic candidates each year?

Precisely HOW is Iowa "representative" of the USA? They're a bunch of fucking corn-farmers. There are no blacks, no hispanics, no Jews, no Gays, no immigrants, no big cities, no nuthin. Nuthin but corn. And you think that THESE people should be deciding who the nominees are?

But for the Democrats to ignore Florida!!! How dumb can you get????

Swiftboating a good thing

Bill Clinton's statement about "swift-boating" Hillary is very interesting. In point of fact, if the Democrats HAD swift-boated John Carey during the primary, then maybe they would have picked a better nominee who would actually have WON the election.

The swift-boating of John Carey was his own damn fault. He walked onto the scene as a great "war hero", who was going to make Bush look like a 2-bit draft-dodger (which he was).

Unfortunately,it turned out that the great "war hero" had only served in Viet Nam for 4 months and got his medals for questionable heroism. Then he came back home and went into the anti-war movement.

I have nothing against the anti-war movement, but Carey should not have advertised himself as Mr. Rambo, Tarzan jungle-warrior, war hero macho-man when he was actually a peacenik. Once again, madly flip-flopping.

If the Democrats had been awake during the primaries, they would have swift-boated Carey during the primaries, and then maybe the Democrats could have nominated an ELECTABLE candidate. And how hard should if have been to find a candidate who could defeat a president so marginally unpopular as George Bush?

So I say to the Democrats, fire your torpedoes on the swift-boats during the PRIMARIES. That is exactly what the Republicans are going to do during the general election, except with 1000 times more torpedoes. Better to have all the shit come out now rather than in the general election. And better get used to BJ jokes, since Monica isn't going away. Especially with the writer's strike.

The latest rumor: Bill is going to divorce Hillary and marry Monica because he always keeps his word.

Revoke the 22nd Amendment

It's time to revoke the stupid 22nd Amendment. That's the amendment that limits presidents to 2 terms. It was initially passed by Republicans as a reaction to FDR, but they shot themselves in the foot.

In the years since FDR, the only Presidents who could have conceivably run for a third term were Reagan and Clinton. So its really a toss-up.

And who has BENEFITTED from Amendment 22? Bush and Bush. Bush Senior was elected ONLY because Reagan could not run for a third term. Bush two was elected ONLY because Clinton could not run for a third term.

So this is a graphic example of how Amendment 22 encourages mediocrity.

And what if Amendment 22 had been in place during FDR's term? FDR would not have been ALLOWED to run in 1940, which means that Wendell Wilkie would have been president at the time of Pearl Harbor. Yeah, Wendell Fucken Wilkie!

What kind of drunken, insane IDIOTS ever passed Amendment 22?

But now is a great time to revoke it, because both the Republicans and the Democrats could benefit. In 2008, there is little doubt who the candidates would be without Amendment 22: George W. Bush versus Bill Clinton.

Better than the current collection of unknowns, surrogates, and borderline maniacs.
